Exactly. This is the kind of thing I was thinking of when Motion Plus was announced. I wish we had heard a release date and price though, it looks expensive.

In Microsoft's defense, the Wiimote was always a gimmick without limited real application. Project Natal is based on a completely different technologie. Nintendo made motion control big, MS took it and made it work.(Assuming it works like it did in the videos)(Lets be honest, the Wiimote doesn't always do what you want it to)

I don't think MS would have showed this if it were vaporware. Sure this might take a year or so to come out but it is clear to me that the technology is there.
