That's gonna be tough to get the harmonies right in these songs... I wonder how demanding it'll be. Everybody knows the melody of the song and they'll want to sing that rather than the harmony... it'll be tough.

Umm... Singer chooses? What if there are 3 singers.

I stand corrected. Technically, this is for the Commodore 64, which came out in 1982, but I'll grant you couple years.

So can I play guitar and sing under the same Gamertag? I've got a mic-stand that I use to play both now on RB2 (which is really fun, until my wife comes home and laughs at me), but you have to sign in as another Gamertag or play as a guest. Can one profile count for singing and instruments or can you have seven Gamertag profiles playing on the one console?
