A TMNT smash bros clone? Really? I'm not saying that it's going to be a bad game, I just don't think that the ninja turtles are still culturally relevent. I know there are still fans around, but are there enough to support this game? I doubt it.

Yeah they are. Why else did they just have a movie. A movie that did fairly well. Also the cartoon series. So yeah, they are stil relevent.

I am controlling my nerd. They are relevant to me the same way star wars, gi joe, and more are. Part of my childhood and also Mirage comics made indie publishers plausible. I read TMNT and Tales of the TMNT to this day.

I understand where he is coming from. They haven't done the series any true justice in a while. I mean, yeah it squeaks by but it could be so much cooler than they made it out to be.
Still, until everyone who enjoyed the original series has died, there will always be a place for a bucket of ooze.

Oh man, not another Smash Bros. rip-off. Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge fan of TMNT. But, making it in a smash bros. style of game is kinda getting old unless of course there's something new in it that hasn't been done before. Well, might as well check it out when it releases. It could kick ass... or not.

I was going to ask the same thing Yatcho. Nothing comes to mind. Who cares either way though this game looks to be great.

Well, there's Onimusha Blade Warriors and this one... and all the SSB games starting from SNES. That's all I could think of. I hate it when games are ripping off other games. Cause most of them doesn't really appeal of got bad reviews. In short, it ends crappy. But hey, let's just wait and see. Maybe this game will rock... or maybe not. Also, since there's no original idea left in this world I guess and "The Simpsons Already Did It", SSB developers should be proud of this.
And you know what, ripping off and cloning other game and just changing some small elements isn't fun anymore. That's what SSB is supposed to be - unique in so many aspects. I'm pretty sure in no time many other clones will come judging from the successes of SSB series.

Honestly, all I want to know is if the TMNT 4 Remake is coming to WiiWare, and I really don't have much interest in this game.

I'm looking forward to this one, albeit apprahensively. It should be good, but I'll wait to see what the reviews say.
