It was pretty obvious he isn't free from the agency, if you actually LOOKED at the trailer.
Seeing as how no top-secret agent training program and facility allows their agents to run-wild, else they'd be the laughing stock of every government in the world, and every government agent as well.
No they will definitely have teams to take down Same and bring him back or imprison him (similar to like in Mission Impossible) and they will be competent, the only issue here is what will make them NOT want to scrap him, as while he has been useful, he's beginning to become more trouble than he's worth.

It looks more laong the lines that Sam ends up taking Third Echelon on in the end. Me thinks they might have had something to do with his daughter's death after all...

Fukk yes!!! Double Agent was interesting, but I like the fact that this character keeps aging and evolving. (though its more like The Bourne Fisher)

There is no PC tag. There's an Xbox one because this story is also being run on the Xbox section of the site. There isn't a PC spoke of Joystiq (there is however a sister site, Big Download), therefore no PC tag.
I'm a PC gamer, and I don't find logic offensive.

PC This fall!?
Every time i hear about a game i want to buy a 360 for, it's on PC, which i already have a gaming PC. I'm still getting a 360 no doubt, but when Terminator Salvation hit Steam, i had a nerdgasm (then read the reviews). I'll buy this game on PC now for sure, tho games like this are usually more enjoyable with a gamepad. Argh! Need monies for gamez.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising is also coming to the PC, YES!!! Looks like when a game is announced as a "360" exclusive, there's a good chance of it coming to the PC. Holding my breath for MGS4 to come to the PC. : )

Almost all games that are also on 360 (which is most big PC games now) have full support of the 360 gamepad, and the exact same control scheme (and even the opo-ups that tell you what control does what are the same) as the Xbox version. I use one for just about every racing and third party game.

Ah, but xbox.joystiq.com literally runs the same story - it's like putting a filter on joystiq depending on which platform you want to hear about, and the tag is just a way of showing that this content is on that.
Big Download however writes its own stories, so a PC tag would link you to a site with a different write-up of the same story, that may or may not have been written at all.

Ok, but before the redesign they did have the nice tag system, and that included a PC one, and it was extremely useful. If you go to just about any post now regarding a game, short of going to wikipedia or another site there isn't a way to know what systems it is on.

That previous 15 second trailer was definitely leaked on purpose. Without a doubt.

really disappointed in this new trailer. i loved the idea of running from police, blending in with crowds, using the world as your cover instead of shadows. now they just turned it into another run of the mill "cover mechanic" shooter. i wish they had stayed on track with the original concept.

I think this looks awesome. No gameplay seen yet of course, but the storytelling is very compelling.
