Those three minutes were better than the entire 3 films of the prequels.

That set up an awesome story but the game can't ever play like that. If there was 10 minutes of gameplay and 3 hours of story rendered like that I would buy it in a second.

The story in KOTOR was great but the gameplay was rather boring. I don't know how you tell a great story in a MMO. I also don't want to pay a subscription fee to play a game.

At first I was like, egh kind of a standard CGI trailer then when that shuttle bay door opened with about twenty Red Lightsabers ignited I just cried in joy.

This is definately one of the greatest pieces of Star Wars I've seen throughout my life. The sheer scale of everything, along with the possible story arc, completely blew me away. Originally I was sceptical about this game since they diverted from KOTOR III and went to MMO. But now I must say I'm a true believer that this game may just wipe the floor with KOTOR I & II. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a solid performance from Lucasarts and Bioware. So far.....so very very good.

Did anyone else notice the little astrodroid? Possible astrodroid class!?

The trailer seemed to showcase a couple of the confirmed classes, like the Jedi, Sith, Clone Trooper, Bounty Hunter, etc. The blue girl looked like she might be a Twi'lek assassin-type class, and then there was the astrodroid.

If there is a god, the astrodroid will = playable class.

Has anyone else noticed star wars tech getting cooler as it gets OLDER? I'm starting to think that either the scripts were placed in the wrong order or this is all a hilarious joke to someone.

Pretty slick. I wonder if they'll be able to pull of heavily stylized action in-game, what with their art style being so stylized already...that'd be pretty cool.

I do like, though, how the "Sith" fighters strongly resembled the Republic fighters from the prequels--which themselves strongly resembled TIE fighters from the original trilogy. Since the Republic became the Empire, I'll accept their fighters looking alike, but the Sith? Really?

Canonically speaking, I don't think the Sith fighters looked like that in KOTOR...or at least, I don't remember noticing that. I suppose it's not that much of a stretch to think that, since it doesn't look like technology advanced that much in ~4000 years, maybe fighter design didn't either. It just seems a little convenient that the ancient bad guys' fighters look so much like the more recent bad guys' fighters.

/fanboy nitpick >.>

this one is set 300 years after KOTOR, so yeah the designs should have progressed a little

Yeah...and in the end it doesn't really matter since ; I just find it odd that Sith fighters from 3500 years before the movies strongly resemble the Republic fighters from the prequels.

I'll end up buying a new computer just to play this(since mine hasn't been updated in forever). I cannot wait for this game. Bioware + Star Wars = EPIC WIN!

I recognize the narrator's voice, he was Azkul in KOTOR 2, and somebody else important in 1

The only thing I'm worrying about now is my internet connection xD

OK. Lucasfilms should just hand over the Star Wars license to Bioware. They should make all games and movies for the franchise going forward. They have an eye for action and gift for story telling that can take the property into the future.
