Ubisoft kind of announces something with Tetsuya Mizuguchi

That doesn't even MAKE sense... you can't make a game for a console, and then release a sequel on a console excluding the other consoles the first game sold on, it'd be the biggest insult to the company, the game, and to the players... no one would buy the game or anything similar again, even if it came back it'd be hard to get them brought back in.

You can't even LEGALLY do that... that's why people fight so hard for exclusivity on the FIRST game.

Ubisoft can legally do whatever they want. They own the IP and thus if they wanted to do so could absolutely have it be a timed exclusive. You don't know much for precedence. Hell, Ubisoft is doing it with the Splinter Cell series that has appeared on the Playstation platform last gen and this gen. Rock Band has been a time exclusive on the 360 with each iteration and the list goes on and on. I'm not saying it's going to happen but I would guess we see the Assassins Creed 2 gameplay at the Sony conference tomorrow.
