Wow, that's awkward. So if you put the Zune brand name on a decent console video service, then we'll stop thinking that actual Zunes suck?

A clear sign someone at Microsoft has been saying "You know, I wonder how much shit people can actually stream; maybe we can make this digital distribution thing happen down the line."

We'll so far they've streamed a lot more than I thought they would. I was thinking 1080P was out of our grasp.

if you have the bandwidth at home to stream 1080p use it!

i'm not normally negative MS, but i realise they'll be charging a premium for 1080p. A qiuck look at illegal movie download sizes right now on thepiratebay, a 720p mkv file comes in at about 4-5gb.. which corresponds well to the size of 720p xbox video marketplace movie.

a 1080p movie will be around twice that size, and you'll be streaming half the bandwidth. What i want to know is, considering i can't stream HD content from my media center PC to my xbox wirelessly, will i need a wired connection to stream 1080p content from the marketplace?

I am really getting sick of Canada being left out of the loop, so How about a list of the "18 countries"?

its gonna be 1080p resolution but the bit rate will be terrible which totally negates the benefit of the increased resolution. Disc format is still the best quality experience.
