I wonder what happens to the people that have a psp and 360??? do they get unlockables or is this strictly for the psp/3 combo?

How about yes - spend some money :) Seriously, other systems and other games have done that, i.e., Folklore/Coded Soul; Ratchet and Clank. It's an interesting idea that helps link all of the games together and, personally, I like the idea.
Now if I could only import some of the God of War: Chains of Olympus powers into God of War III, I'd be happy.

Wait..the way this post is worded the Flying Machine will only be available to PS3 gamers who also own a PSP???
I own both a 360 and PS3 WTF at having to also have a PSP to get one of the coolest new features in AC2???

How about no. I shouldn't have to own your entire platform ecosystem in order to get to content within a given game on a given platform.
I don't mind adding some sort of bonus functionality (you can use the secondary screen of the handheld as a radar map, or as a PIP-boy, or share media between your console and your portable), but tying content to other platforms this way? BS.
For context (in case someone wants to try and argue that this is just like one of these other things and draw parallels): I am not against DLC content (everyone has equal access, with no additional hardware/software required). I am against content tied to pre-orders/purchases from specific retailers.

Coincidentally, the PSP version is titled Assassin's Creed Bloodlines. There is no Castlevania Bloodlines remake coming out.

Hmmmm, I wonder if the weopons will be included in the 360 or if you'll have to pay for them or something. I just hope you can get them someway, because although I have a psp, no ps3 for me.

Why won't Joystiq save my info?
Anyways, this is an awful idea. I'm not going to debate portable gamming suffice to say I loathe it. I don't travel, work from home and will take playing on an HDTV w/ surround sound any day over a portable.
I don't hate the PSP I just have ZERO need for one. When I heard about Bloodlines, I figured I'd just read a synopsis online to further the story but tying in in-game content to another device is absurd.
First Ubi's horrid PC and now this.

I'm guessing this stuff will be hitting the stores in the form of DLC once sales start dwindling for the PSP version..... for a price of course.

So, since Microsoft doesn't have a portable, will us 260 players be able to download those unlockables as DLC, or is Ubisoft screwing us over?

this site is retarded i watched E3 and they said if you got a psp and ACbloodlines you get 6 add weapons only for PS3 the flying machine is not a weapon its in both versions PS3 and the X-Box 360 the flyin machine is just used to get to spots to kill your target that you can only get to on thee flying machine and if your low enough you can kick gaurds as your flying it was in the gameplay trailer 24 weapons in game 6 more if you got the psp ACbloodlines its just weapon no tropys for them but you get the masters special editon you get added map in game and if you preorder at gamestop one more map in game i got both PS3 and 360 so im getting Assassins Creed 2 for both
