I was looking for an ending of "We don't like your kind around here"...

Looks nice and I'm glad to see some foliage but I think that some of those wooden structures should have been a little more run down after 200 years.

Wait, wow.... MORE Fallout DLC??? This is Amazing!! Seriously I wasn't expecting this, every big game that has come out the developers have said "lots of dlc is planned and on the way". Bethesda has been the ONLY company to give quality DLC, and at regular intervals too. One other exception being GTA IV, I did think Lost & the Damned was well done. But I've been dissapointed with Fable's dlc, Mass Effect, etc.

If by quality you mean late and broken, they sure have delivered.

So, let me get this straight, you disagree with my post because you think Mass Effect and Fable had more (quantity) and better (quality) dlc??
Granted, a few of the Fallout dlc's have been a little buggy at the time they were available for download, but ONLY FOR A DAY.
You're like the guy who doesn't have health insurance, and you go in for a FREE clinic visit, and you complain about the long wait time....
Give me a DLC that you liked, and I might be less inclined to think you're as stupid as you sound.

Oh i'm sorry Cash I thought you might read joystiq. such as this article "http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/19/fallout-3-dlc-coming-to-ps3-beginning-late-june-two-new-multipl/"
Which says
In addition, two new DLC packs have been announced and will be heading to both platforms. Point Lookout, as revealed by retailers earlier this month, will feature a massive swampland area to explore and in Mothership Zeta you'll suffer through an alien abduction. These packs will be available on Xbox 360 and PC starting late June and on PS3 once the first three have been released.

I'm still craving for some type of prison content where he either gets captured by the remnant of the Enclave and stashed in some prison, tortured, and what not (the initial campaigns energy cell idea was interesting, until I got shot through it which was stupid writing on the editors part as they wouldn't just kill you, especially if you were a pure Human and they thought you useful which they would after all you did to get there) or perhaps by a different faction or group... made as a slave maybe... that'd be interesting having a collar placed on the PC him/herself... perhaps left in a location to rot due to being too much of a problem, or shackled to a statue or monument and left to die... there's a lot of visceral and dark things that could have happened that no one ever seemed to even touch on, this DLC makes me think I'm shooting zombies all day, because of the atmosphere and environment and number of times the trailer showed gunplay.
The Pitt's beginning had potential with the slave idea, but then it just threw it all away when you progressed through...
Ehh disappoints me no real secondary prison or capture or containment or torture or slave content has been made for games for a LONG TIME, and rarely is it ever good...
I doubt it will ever occur but it'd be interesting, they could add some story to it too, and the character really made 0 sacrifices the entire game, and a story needs sacrifices...
Edit: as for this content... ehh I might look into it but so far it lacks much potential for story...

It looks good, but it doesn't look scary. I doubt I'll buy it though, I'll just borrow the game of the year version from my friend when he gets it. But God, what a Shitty logo.

Also, I don't think Fallout 3 could ever be scary. The reason why is VATS. zomgwtfbbq something just popped out at me. Boom. Click VATS and its paused.

VATS is a replacement for a horrible aiming experience. If it wasn't there the game would be unplayable. Although, in my quest for a platinum trophy on the PS3 version, the only time I got tired of it was when I absolutely had to use it on weak enemies. Kinda wished it had a "fuck you" button like hitting triangle on God of War.

I know that this DLC isn't really E3 related, but between that trailer, the press conference yesterday, and the 1 vs 100 Beta last night, this has basically been the best week for video games ever.

Agreed. Very cheesy looking. Doesn't match the vibe at all. Looks more like an episode of Barney and Friends.

What about Burnout Paradise? It's already had 3 times the patches and DLC as Fallout has.

If I'm not mistaken, that's my home state of Louisiana. Sadly thanks to decades of corrupt politicians, it looks about like that now.

Yeah, that font is atrocious. It's like the goddam flintstones or something.

"We'll get you" is what my friends and I used to yell out the window at passing strangers. We never did get them though.

Does anyone else find it funny that the mutant hillbillies and their buildings looked like theyd survived the apocalypse better than the Nation's Capital or important Californian cities?

Dude, great trailer, lots of action, but the font they used to write "Point Lookout" reminded me of that one episode of Scooby Doo when they're in that swamp.

Cool. Mutant red necks to kill and a scarily foggy swap to explore... AWESOMENESS!
I find it very interesting that not only is Bethesda adding a "deep south" touch to Fallout 3 but Valve is doing the same with L4D in L4D2.
