So, is this an MMO? or more like Battle Field with 100 people in mission based combat?
If it is, I'm kinda shocked to see it, we had docs on this game at EA back in 2004. When we finished up BattleField 2, It was intended to be an expansion.

From what I understand it is a full, MMO, my buddy is applying for a TA position @ realtime so his understanding would be better; however, from what I gather its an MMORPG Shooter-Driving-OpenWorld game O..o

100 players, 1000 NPCs.
100 is an odd number for miltplayer.
So I'm assuming 64 players x2

128 with the extra 28 slots reserved for Admins, ect...

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but this REALLY sounds like an old EA project that was indented to be a battlefield expansion back in 2004. It was dubbed "Cops and Robbers."
There was bank robberies, and other elements build on the BF2 mod tools.

There was a Cod 2 mod back in the day that oddly enough mirrored saints row (gang colors; names; and races). This game also has some similar features. If I'm not mistaken, that game did at least 64 players.
Anyways, I can't wait for this one. This brings new meaning to online gang banging. :)

Yer tellin me, they'll prolly try and toss on some of that limited install drm on it. Yes, even tho it's an mmo and doesn't really NEED it, they'll toss it on anyway....
