I would assume so, as Symphony of the Night, Suikoden, and Wild Arms all let me do it. Then, when you gotta leave the house, you copy the file from the PS3 back to the PSP and keep on trucking. Awesome.

My question about this is, will the one on the US PSN work on a european PS3? Since there is really no ETA till it hits the EU PSN.. ?

spelling has nothing to do with it. are you that stupid. because i think you are because anyone knows that as long as the correct meaning of the sentence is there it doesn't make a difference on how it is spelt.

I never really actually finished this game, you know? So as soon as I get my PSP Go this is one of the first things going on it.

For now I have to finish playing all my UMD games.

This is one of the reasons why I want a PSP Go. I don't want to have to keep buying memory sticks and have to manage them. Plus, the biggest stick I have is 1 Gig and this is slightly bigger than that.

Has anyone bought this game from the PSN yet? Do you know if it allows you to play it in widescreen? Do the graphics look slightly enhanced?

It's possible to play in original, normal, zoom and widescreen modes. To my surprise, the O and X commands seem to be inversed compared to other PSP games. Is this a change since the game was released in 1997, or might it be because these buttons are used differently in Japan than in North America and they forgot to correct this feature? I'll have to check if this can be modified under the Options menu.

The O and X controls in FF VII have always been switched. The game came out relatively early in the PlayStation's and the X-Select and Triangle/Square-Cancel move of most games had not yet been codified into the PS book of assumed laws. You can change it in the config menu (press triangle to call this up in-game), or you can sit back and taste some vintage Playstation variety. Personally pressing O to select makes me feel all nostalgic.

Blah. Sony going back to milk the same cow again. Seriously folks, THIS is why you should hack your PSP if it is capable. There is NO reason you should have to buy this IF you own the game already. NOTE I AM NOT CONDONING PIRACY HERE. I am condoning not paying for the same thing twice if you already own it.

Does anyone else find the PlaystationNetwork Store...confusing.

You used to be able to go there and see ALL demos, PSOne games, PSP games, etc.

Now, all I get is one page and not a complete list. Did they remove this from the web and is it only available from a PSP or PS3?

I can't find FF7 anywhere on there.

for those of you wondering how it looks, it's def still better than some UMD games out there *cough* star ocean *cough*. I wouldn't recommend doing widescreen, but it still looks pretty ok

Thanks, Adrian, I was feeling all elite with my superb abilities to play backwards compatible games on my PS3. To agree with Krazy, I honestly didn't know that either.

can anyone with this tell me how the load times are? it would be a shame if they are as slow as they were on the PSX.
