Hey, that's one big game that isn't getting smashed into the holiday season! Unless it gets delayed until holiday 2010. Let's not think about that.

It was a mildly disappointing Sony E3 conference. They pretty much showed everything that we didn't need to see and already knew even before the "leaks". I just wanted to see more exclusive Sony titles like Heavy Rain. Final Fantasy 14 and the motion controller was pretty much the only thing that was cool even though I'm not a fan of both

Mostly everything announced in all 3 events was at least 2010, and obviously getting delayed even more, wasn't the show about what's coming this year?
After watching the shows there are at least 20 AAA titles coming to all consoles in march 2010.

The leaks killed the conference, but your dumb as hell to say it was disappointing. If anything it MET expectations, but certainly didn't exceed them.
Microsoft did the same as they always do. Steal an exclusive, announce a halo, and do a rock band presentation. Its the same format they have been doing for 3 or 4 years now. Ever since GTA4 they have used that format. They like to steal the thunder, but I think Sony was ready and kept their share of the thunder this year. Thats pretty good considering losing MGS ect.

Is it me or does God of War 3 look like Ninja Gaiden on steroids? Instead of ninjas it's greek mythology. The combo meter is there, ripping guys apart is there. The real difference is that there are dance dance revolution button combinations for the boss battles.
But it still looks like an epic game.

For God's sake, this is the first playable footage of the thing, ever. Last year they barely even have a freaking trailer.

I don't get it. Whenever a sequel comes out, gamers and reviewers complain that it plays the same. What would you expect? It's God of War "3". Why should it be different than GOW 1 and 2?

Releasing around the same time of year that the other 2 did, not a huge surprise there.
I was really really blown away by the demo of this and Uncharted 2. Of course there are some bugs that need to be ironed out in GoW 3 but that's why it's coming out in March and not July of this year.
So I can't really decide what's my personal game of the show, this or Uncharted 2. Maybe this, since I already saw a demo of Uncharted 2 before...

I'm not sure when people are going to catch on that this is HOW IT ALWAYS WORKS.
Sony announces it's titles way in advance. Microsoft typically announces theirs much closer to release. So at the start of the year everyone is like "OMG PS3 IS DOMINATING THIS YEAR LOOK AT ALL THESE EXCLUSIVES AND MS HAS LIKE NONE LOL!".
Then, E3 rolls around and MS announces stuff for THIS year while Sony announces just stuff for next year and beyond, and everything balances out again.
Sony already had plenty of big games for this year, so they didn't need to announce more. MS waited until now to announce some of its bigger games for this year.

Uncharted 2, MAG, Ratchet and Clank, WKC. And of course inFamous and KZ2 earlier in 2009. If you do have a PS3 (which I doubt) try them out, all great games, especially Uncharted.
