Overheard@E3: Booth babes 'still allowed to have big boobs'

E3 has returned to its roots, albeit with a scaled-back "booth babes" policy. Although we aren't sure if someone from the ESA is checking skirt lengths with a ruler, they can't prance around half-naked anymore. We overheard this exchange between two E3 attendees:

Swag-laden Guy #1: "Check it out! Booth babes!"
Swag-laden Guy #2: "Oh yeah. I heard they can't be scantily clad anymore, but they're still allowed to have big boobs."
Swag-laden Guy #1: "Sweet."

Oddly enough, E3 attendees, both male and female, are still allowed to have big boobs as well. Now that's progress.

I was grocery shopping and there was this mom with 2 little girls that were wearing pink jerseys that read (and this is not made up) "The Pink Pony's"

Well, I'm glad someone finally came out and said it. I think I, like most people here, would prefer #4, but there's nothing wrong with a little "softness" on a girl. Feels good to wrap your body around.

Yeah, she'd be my second choice for certain.

Saria: I don't believe that girls are pieces of meat, but as you pointed it, it changes when they're wearing shirts that say "Stripprs"(maybe an all girl clan?) I hate the sexual assault defense of "Oh, she was dressed like she wanted it." It doesn't matter if someone's totally nude, no one deserves any unwanted physical contact. However, some people do dress up to be gawked at. These people are there for their looks. I'm sure they're aware of it, and if they didn't want it they didn't have to take a job.

Now, you could get into a conversation about why it is that jobs like that and actual strippers happen to pay women better than most jobs. But then that's analyzing society as a whole. And that's a MUCH longer conversation.
