Exactly, it's the old Looney Tunes racing but with Avs. This actually looks like something I might be interested in playing, especially at Free.

THis is more exiting than the ps3 failing conference.

They should make this game have free xbox live-multiplayer for silver members. That would really boost it and the micro transactions.

Couldn't disagree more. All that would do is provide an "online benefit" for players who don't think they should have to pay to play online. A little more than $4/mo is not very much at all, and certainly is well worth it for a ability to play online. Should the game be free to Silver members? Maybe. Should they be able to play online? Absolutely not.
That's like saying I should be allowed to play for free because I don't think I should have to pay for it.

@AngryGamer
I guess I see this as more of an MMO-type game than your average multiplayer game. Since they will be charging micro transactions, it seems a little mean-spirited to also charge for playing online.
Somewhat similar to how Phantasy Star Universe is free to play for Silver members, but they have to pay for the Guardian's license.

That IS my kinda of thing. No, seriously... 360 is in serious need of an arcadey kart game, so this may just work. Oh, and there's also the Sonic Kart game, but it's not gonna be out for a while.
And... did you say free to play? Does that mean free to download as well?

It looks like someone threw Mario Kart Wii and TF2's desert maps into a blender to produce industrial strength awesomesauce. Let us hope that Big Park and Microsoft don't completely balls it up by giving those prepared to pay for the microtransactions an unfair advantage.

This game looks pretty enjoyable to me, especially for the price tag. Since the game is free it's probably got limited vehicles and such, but I bet they'll have tons of add-ons for sale.

Really reminds me of the old Wile E. Coyote/Roadrunner cartoons visually, which isn't a bad thing at all. Especially since it seems like their just gunning for the same zany wackiness. I don't know if I can see myself on it everyday, but I would definitely give it a try.

Don't they use a similar model to this over in Korea or something? Watched a telly program about some bird who played a free kart racer game (supported by premium content) on the PC and was #2 in the rankings or something like that.
Looks like a laugh anyway. As long as they can give it the mario kart 'feel' then I'll be happy.
Oh, and free is always good too!!

I'm sceptical about this whole micropayment stuff.
