So begins the first trailer for Crackdown 2. The trailer subsequently showcases one of the Agency's supercops doing what he does best. If you've played the first Crackdown, you'll know that what an Agent does best is basically to be a complete and total badass. The only difference is that this time, it looks like the Agents just might have met their match. We won't spoil it for you, so just go ahead and give it a watch.

Heh, I turned his voice off after a while. It got pretty annoying because he said the same thing over and over again.
I cannot wait for this game, I loved the first crackdown and this looks to add things that might actually be a threat to your super-human powered enforcer.

I loved that guy. My favorite was "I can see my house from here"...half the time he said it I was just hanging out on the ground.

Why couldn't they have talked about this for five minutes instead of showing some random dancing car trailer for Forza 3 during Microsoft's conference

What I want improved is the AI. I felt it to be a bit strange that they were all such sharpshooters who could all swivel 'round and shoot me with a shotgun while I'm 100ft in the air when I so much as looked at them.

Not that a headshot would really kill you, though. Might give you a light headache, but it's not like the Agents really thought much anyway.

Needed bigger streets, though. Your car was too damn fast to navigate those roads.

Indeed. Unless of course these crazy enemies are also quite powerful. So they'll kick you off buildings and slam on your face on for you to throw them up in the sky followed by a few rockets...
But I'd still rather be fighting against the agency or converting new cities.

This actually caught me by surprise. Awesome. Looks like I'll be up playing this until 5am every night, just like Crackdown in 2007. I'd better get ready.

I had to rewatch the trailer because I didn't think it was in Pacific City again until I saw the skyline on the logo. Then I realized that the whole trailer is in La Mugre, but that the land seems to have been extended, and somehow the tower is right next to the island. So small changes maybe but it looks awesome.
Also whoever said it's following the hot trend with zombies and/or monsters, you must be forgetting about the freaks that ended up running around towards the end of the first one. This seems like a bigger, meaner version of them.

Thankyou!!! My day has just been made!
Nice vid, bit worried about this 'new threat' living in the sewers.
Maybe it's Crackdown2: Agency v TMNT. You heard it hear first.
Oh, and 00:28-00:29 Mmmmmmm orbs... I can feel the addiction coming back already!!

If this game doesn't pick up RIGHT from where the last one left off... I'm gonna scratch my head the entire time I enjoy the rest of the game.
