Zombies infecting PSP in Resident Evil Portable

Among the more infectious news from Sony's E3 2009 press conference was the reveal of Resident Evil for the PSP. Described as a "whole new game," details are eerily light on the upcoming portable zombie hunt. We'll be on the lookout for more on the game as the week wears on, hoping to uncover a green herb or two along the way.

Actually with the price of CG graphics these days its actually cheaper to engineer a retrovirus and make some real zombies on the cheap

Actually a game I might be interested in purchasing myself assuming it isn't going to be download only like patapon2

Well even in the new recent action RE games the 2nd analog wasn't even really used.

Sony are really stepping up their game on the PSP, a good thing, the only thing killing it is the small library with few blockbusters.

I hope this is more of a classic style Resident Evil. Not that I don't enjoy the great action offered in the newer titles, I just want some new old fashioned zombie surviving goodness.

Doesn't anyone feel this is just another attempt at milking the Franchise? The remake for the original Resident Evil (which was released in 1996) on the Nintendo DS wasn't that great, so what makes you think this will be any better?

that was a port, not a remake. The remake was on the gamecube, and it was awesome.

Ok, first of all, you guys are dumb... why in GOD's name would you want to go back to the slow, boring, easily killed zombies instead of ACTUALLY fearing for your life while fast-paced, SCARIER zombie-like people try to maul you? and as far as resident evil being remade on the ds... that's the DS!!!! the graphics and controls are HORRIBLE for that system (at least when it comes to RE). psp will be much easier to use... it'll have the old school feel while maintaining decent graphics... personally, i can't wait for this... this IS going to be the next chapter in the RE series whether you like it or not...
