This looks like a lot of fun, just like Galaxy. I like some of the new levels they showed there. Man, that looks fun. A buy for me.

Actually, that's kind of what Reggie was hinting at in an interview I saw with him, I think over on IGN. They asked him about the "sequel" SMG2, and he answered back something like Miyamoto knew that the core wanted more of the Galaxy system, and they made it on the harder side for them, that you'd have to work more in this one. Which I approved of. :)

Am I the only one excited to see that different colored Yoshi's have different abilities again since Super Mario World? Light Blue Yoshi becomes a balloon and Orange Yoshi can run fast. I hope they add more Yoshi in this game than they had in Super Mario Sunshine.

Actually, I think from watching the vid that those are changes to regular green Yoshi, like what happens with Mario and a suit. Still fabulous that Yoshi is getting color changes, though. :)

People need to look at it this way. Would you rather wait till the Wii2 for another Mario game? I think it's great that this is being made.
The 10% of "old content" is just ideas and levels that were cut from the original which technically means it's all new seeing as how we having played any of the cut content.

Whats wrong with more of what's fun and tbh i love SMG, one of the finest games ever created so this made smile when i saw it. To all those that just bitch about everything that Nintendo does, i hope your ears turn to arseholes and shit all over your shoulders..2009-2010 is a bright time for Wii and DS.

let's see... super mario world is one of the best games ever made, and this game reminds me of it with yoshi and the implied harder difficulty.

I seriously can't wait for this. SMG was one of the best games I've played in years(also had one of the best soundtracks ever found in a video game) and I'm damn excited for this sequel.

This is easily one of Nintendo's best E3 announcements this year. I loved the first Galaxy, and this one doesn't look like it will disappoint. Yeah, it doesn't look that much different from the first one, but in this case, that's not a bad thing at all.
I can't wait for Galaxy 2.
