I'm more upset than these people. Didn't Devil May Cry already do this stint with, you know, Dante and Vergil and going through hell sort of in the third game? Pshaw.

I actually an a practicing Christian and am studying to become a minister at a Bible College.. and I can tell you that Dante's Inferno is not based on The Bible. Dante's Inferno is a work of fiction from the early 14th century. These protestors, whether they are real or not, have failed to realize that what they speak against does not glorify a Biblical view of Hell. And even if it did, they also fail to realize that The Bible talks very clearly about approaching these types of situations with love and patience and they have chosen judgment which the Bible also states is not their position to hold. I know that the vast majority of people I see on the internet and in the media choose to make this the image of modern day Christianity. I hope that for most of you, you can say that you personally know someone who claims Christ as their Savior and does not act this way, but instead carries themselves with compassion and grace and remembers not to hold people to a standard of life that they have not chosen. Christians will never gain ground in this world if we continue to force feed the stipulations surrounding eternal life simply in the hopes that someone may eventually reap the benefits. Love your neighbor as yourself, love God with everything you have... that's all we were told to do.
