Celebrate Forza 3 by getting a free car in Forza 2

Turn 10 Studios is celebrating the announcement of Forza Motorsport 3 this week by offering up a free car to Forza 2 players who reply to their blog with their Xbox Live gamertag attached. All you have to do is follow the cryptic, Da Vinci code-like instructions buried in their FAQ to link your gamertag, leave a comment on their post, and you'll get a free customized Audi S4 to drive around. At least until the new game comes out in October.

Last time they were giving out a car I tried to link my gamertag and i got an error message, same thing this time, does it not work with linux

well it's obviously a conspiracy. after all, you are logged into microsoft.com when you link your gamertag. microsoft makes windows, and linux is "stealing" microsoft people.

I was extremely lucky to be online just as T10 were putting some of the R8s up and got mine for 10k buyout. At the same time, there were a couple put up by sharks for 10m.

I commented on the blog, having been signed into the system with my GT and having posted on the Forza forums, but I haven't been gifted. Obviously being signed in isn't being linked to your gamertag in the way they want.

Oh crap, I forgot about that nonsense of limited edition cars. That marketplace junk is so annoying. I just want to race, is that too much to ask? I can't even compete against track records because some joker may have a 20m limited edition car.

Maybe Shift is more my thing.
