I dunno, I wasn't feeling this year.

I still believe E3 2004 was the best especially with the whole "Blades will bleed" trailer. ;)

Not even close to the former e3.

But it was still awesome, a good start for the new e3.

I think Microsoft and Sony really made this a great E3 to remember, but if we're talking strictly on the way E3 was (obviously I wasn't there so I'm just going by blogs and photos ect.) its not nearly as over the top outrageous as the early 2000's were.

Total financial failure, but more entertaining none the less.

E3 2010 had 41,000 attendees?

btw, to all who are going to downvote me, original title was:

E3 2010 scheduled for June 15-17; had 41,000 attendees

Also, some people don't understand sarcasm....:P

[Ed. Um, no it wasn't. Look at the URL, 2009 was always there.]

Totally the best E3 EVAR. (Now, just if we had some substantial demos on Xbox LIVE.... grrr.)

Poot, if only that had been the schedule this year! It would have coincided with my trip to LA.

Nice to be an ass fellas, but try to schedule the reader meet-up further in advance next year. One days notice doesn't work out.

at least it's in your state. when it's across the country from you, then you realize how good the cali people have it.

Weird, thanks Sly, I'm just now noticing I wrote 'nice', when I meant to write 'not'

Were it in your geography, I think we'd have to petition state gov't to get you a temporary 'drink with the folks' license so you could come and hang out! That or get you a fake beard and mustachio.

I went to E3 on Tuesday and compared to the last time I went, in 2006, it wasn't nearly as insane or packed, but it still felt busy. I was able to roam freely and there was a nice energy in both the West and South halls. My ears only rang after the Last Guardian griffin-cat-thing screamed during the Sony presser. Sony's booth has mad speaker-power.
Overall, whatever they did to make things different between this year and 2006, it worked and I look forward to going back next year.

I just wish it was public. If there were a god, E3 would be public, but given thats its prense only event, hence there's no god. Good thing i'm atheist. Lets see if I can sneak in the lines of any webblog for next year.

PAX is the public E3 for the states :)

But really I dont see why they could not have the event like they did this year, but add on 2 days and open the floor to the public. Charge 80 bucks for a 2 day pass, 60 for one day and share the profits with the game publishers. You may not be able to pay the company's back everything they spent at e3, but it would be a good deal.

the sad thing is, i live in México, in Sonora, which is just below of Arizona, and LA is closer to me than PAX. As I know, PAX always takes place on the east coast, and would be a pretty long and expensive trip for me
