Joystiq E3 reader meetup tonight

Dear Readers,

We have been working overtime all week to bring you the newest, hottest gaming news from E3. How are we celebrating the closeout of the show tonight? By having a party and bringing you a ton of swag (games, shirts, download codes .. and the new Nintendo FrisWii).

If you're local, you can park nearby or take the Red Line to Hollywood & Highland and walk over. As a reminder, here's the venue info:

1738 N Orange Dr.
Los Angeles, CA 90028

Doors open at 6PM.

Also, I have exams (and will for the next 4 years), but that's not Joystiq's fault.

i wish i could be there. but i live in nyc. will there be giveaways 4 people who cant attend like me?

Alot of Joystiq readers I find are from NY like myself but next year will be the year I finally go to e3... just maybe

I live in New York and if E3 were local I'd be there in a heartbeat.

There will be a lot of new things for the East Coast in the next couple of years... I'm saying this out loud in the hopes that someone will hear and prove me right.

NY gets everything. Let us have E3. :D

There is always the east coast PAX next year. Think its in Boston.

A lot of people who live here don't even know that LA has a subway.

Wait, there's a subway?!

Yeah, Saria, it's the Red Line, it goes from Union Station, through Hollywood, up to Universal Studios. I take the Gold Line from Pasadena to get to Citywalk that way. No traffic and it's $1.25!!

the Red Line runs from Union Station to North Hollywood and Universal Studios. fare is $1.25 :)

i recommend stopping at Hollywood and Vine and walking up Hollywood Blvd. for a stop at Skooby's Hot Dogs. YUM.

I am offering to pick Saria up from the station. Totally.

Dood Skooby's is the bomb. Hotdog some fries and a lemonade.
I think that hotdog comes close second to the Border Dogs you get outside of Little Joy in Echo Park around 2 in the morn.

w00t, got a copy of KH:CoM for PS2 and a beer, pretty awesome. Gdog, let me know if you'd like a ride to Union Station instead of the Redline, I'm a generous guy.

Aww, if it was on Friday, and if was out of school, and if i had asked my aunt to get me into Los Angeles, i could have been there...

if only you guys had waited one more day. I live in san diego, and would go up there for this, but school gets out on friday for me for the weekend (obviously).

or northern new york you know as close to the canadian border sa you can get without actually being in canada? yeah right there. com on over next time it'll be fun times
