Mark Hamill signs on for Darksiders

Our time spent with Darksiders' creative director Joe Madureira yielded more than a confirmation of release date and a demo, as we noticed a familiar voice ringing out through our play session. As fellow Joystiq staffer Kevin Kelly raised an eyebrow, we both realized who it was: Mark Hamill. Voicing The Watcher, a demon locked in protagonist War's gauntlet, his voice is unmistakable. Madureira proceeded to confirm our suspicion, stating, "Yeah, we got Mark Hamill."Indeed, you did, and we consider it a massive victory.

So we got Jedi voice overs, hell and heaven, zelda like gameplay, horses, the gods are angry, what more could you want.

have't heard of this game until today, but 2 screenshots later, it reminds me of Quake 2, and currently has my interest.

Old news is really really really old, but I am glad to see this game get some attention, it looks brilliant.

Wait, Joe Madureira ... as in Uncanny X-Men's JOEMAD?
Holy crap, this game just went on my radar. Any one know if any of the Battle Chasers characters are going to pop up in this game? I think Calibretto would be a perfect fit in this type of game.
GFWL - Scott Lobdell and Joe Madureira were great on X-Men like Joe Kelly and Ed McGuiness were great on Deadpool.
