Activision Rep: "Have you been to the booth yet?" Xav: "Not yet. I want to check out Brutal Legend... wait sorry, that's EA. You guys used to have it."
Activision: "Yeah. Don't rub it in."
For the record, this happened yesterday ... which makes today's law suit even more hilarious.
This was a burn through the statement of fact. Karma would be EA bragging about how they scooped such an awesome game and then being sued for said game today.
I know it is off topic, but wasn't Section 8 supposed to be at E3?
I was kind of hoping the game would launch this year. it looked pretty sweet. Does anyone know if we will be seeing anything from it at E3 today or anywhere, or does it mean we wont be seeing or hearing more until later for a 2010 release.
The game promotes smoking in the main character and several others, focuses on aggression and violence to a degree of not art, but simply glamour which is just wrong and stupid, focuses in positive manners on alcohol and drugs, or has key characters partake them, and contains more vulgarities than should ever be heard in one's life...
What exactly am I to like?
I hate this game, and all it stands for, as it is the reason our stereotypes never disappear.
Reading over your post history you seem to have an inexplicable desire to point out how "stupid and immature" everything - and everyone - are. It seems as if your only interest is to start flame wars so you can call people "mentally retarded" while enlarging your e-peen.
That all we do is use vulgarities and drink / smoke / do drugs, are idiots, have low self-esteem and intelligence, stay inside all the time, and are generally uneducated, and immature.
I'm sick of that stereotype and similar stereotypes regarding gamers, and I'm sick of the fact most of it is true.
