I'd like to hope it will be a MGS level pack, but lately, it's been all stickers and costumes, and nothing much else.

I am still hoping that the ice hazard shows up one day as well.

Whatever happened to Play Create Share?

I'm so tired of MediaMolecule selling out their brand just so they can milk some cash off other games likeness and characters.

MediaMolecule is so busy pumping out this kind of licensed bullshit that they cant even create content that is of their own other than the Monster packed which contained a million stickers of eyes.

User Generated levels are great but most of them are just so lacking of what the Story levels have.

hell yeah I did but that was in December! its been 5 months since we have gotten any real levels from MM. 5 months of the same thing over and over again. Costumes are one thing but they should at least release some original content to go along with it like levels or levels based off these games.

Im guessing it takes a while with licensing and development time etc.
but i would love to see more frequent level packs (one every 1-2 months?)

Oh yeah I'm not dissing user generated levels. I played ALOT of great ones and that's one of them but I also have to admit I love MM levels just as much. I played through the Story levels with different friends 3 times and it's always a blast.

I loved SotC, but the comical nature of LBP is not appropriate I think. At least they are getting publicity and awareness for the Last Guardian.

I would much rather have a kitty dragon mask.

It wouldn't be appropriate to have LBP content in SotC, but I think nearly anything can gain value by adding a comic slant. Just look at that teaser video. I laughed out loud, I love SotC, and if you can't laugh at your favorite stuff you might just be too stodgy.

Maybe, but I'm very protective of things I love, and I think sacred things should remain untouched. Sometimes I remind myself of Holden Caulfield.

To me though, parodying SotC in this way is celebratory and complimentory. It adds some silliness to the existing concept without disrupting its foundation. I can see how one would get defensive over a "Zero Punctuation" type satire (I myself got really pissed off at his review of Valkyria Chronicles) where the satire ends up poking holes in the source material, but LBP is nothing but wholesome fun.

It's bad enough I don't have a PS3 yet. Now there's more of a reason to get LittleBigPlanet.

hopefully this is another big DLC pack if it were Im sure it will create more of a stir and bring people back to lbp just like the MGS pack did. Didnt Mm say they had a big patch coming up? Either way Mm will get my money once again, Im a LBP costume whore :-( I cant help myself. I have faith that the LBP comunity will put this to use if it is more stickers and materials but I really do hope this is another level pack where we have to earn the stickers it just caters to the creator and player crowd. Heres to hoping!

Needs:
Climbing surface (material or similar to set on fire/electricity) that the player can grab and freely move around on (shadow of the colossus style)

maybe bow/arrows that will stick to objects and add a grabbable area (so it stick into it and then you can climb them)

ive also designed a grappling hook that sticks to soft objects, pushed hard objects, activates paint switches/grab switches, and swings like worms Armageddon's grappling hook (hold r1 to grab, dpad to reel in/out, right stick to aim, left to swing)

also a gravity modifier in the environment settings (where the darkness, fog setting are) to control how much gravity there is (then you can use the global change settings thing that came with the level creation pack and change/reverse gravity on the fly)

A water material (just something that looks like water) it doesn't have to really work, buoyancy wise, but that would be better than blue gas

the only think limiting the sack people is their movement, so if we can have them go anywhere, jump any height, go any speed, then we can make any level, and toggle what the sack person can do within the level's requirements

I have lots of creative levels if anyone wants to check em out, I just recently made one, assault the weapon factory, where you must run across rooftops, and catwalks, Metal slug style, and destroy everything in your way.
Features:
-smart, aiming baddies (360degrees)
-multiple paths, all destructable
-puzzles, not just mindless shooting

PSN: Lachadonan

This makes me laugh... only because companies think we want to get up and move around and be interactive while playing games. It's total opposite with me, and by the sounds of it, you as well.
The only moving around I want to do when I play is strumming and banging on plastic toys, or diddling triggers and thumb knobs. Any more than that, and I'll pass.
Same goes for changing disks... KZ2 hasn't been ejected for 2 months, so I'll go between that and demo's.
