I just hope they don't "pull an eye of judgment" with this game because it looks like it has huge promise ...... as eye of judgment burned its players by requiring them to purchase expansion software to play with the new series cards they purchase. I can sort of understand it but if you have people buying your cards why hit them for another $13 just to be able to play with them. Not that I suspect this game will fall victim to anything like that but you never know.

I'm also doubtful as to the infrastructure future of this game, I can't honestly think of a PSP game that has had an infrastructure mode and the lack of said infrastructure mode has kept me from buying games that otherwise I would have purchased day one, like PS:P

Still This game has major promise and I hope it does end up getting bundled with the PSP camera because that would be a huge selling point for both products and they need to get that camera released in the states.

@Scuffles: yeah that ruined it for me too, having to buy updates AND cards. That and the fact that if I stopped playing it for a few months, when I went back to it I got owned by complete noobs because the battle system is complicated, especially with the more exotic cards. Unlabeled cards? WTF.

And like I mentioned earlier, the downloadable PDF of the cards killed it too.

@ Porfrogs.
Yeah thats was the problem with me too :S liked the game, but they should have included something like a story mode, also the two $15 updates so you can have more variety, which is necessary in any card game... well...

and the difficulty, you couldnt just star learning with pc in easy or something. and Online, the times i tried to, 9/10 matchs i played, were with those special cards mercenaries or something, dont remeber, that worked together screwig you so hard and with no effort or strategy at all.

"For example, you may have to blow into your PSP to create a wind gust."

I guess this means this game is not compatible with the PSP-1000. Thanks a lot Sony.

haha... invizimals?? invisible animals?? xDDD j/k

anyway, great concept. hope to see some actual gameplay and footage. i'm guessing they will bundle the game + camera + the invizimal "somewhat" pokeball thing. i'm hoping they would also just sell the invizimal game + the pokeball especially those who own the camera already so it would be cheaper. there's only two path that this game could go wrong, either it would epically fail or win. and yeah, this game does look promising. well, based on the video at least.

you know what would kick more ass is that if these were a pokemon franchise it would be totally awesome since it's already popular. and just imagine the whole pokeball ordeal. i guess it's just too much or expensive. w00t!... but hey, a new ip is always welcome.

I took the unveiling of this game as confirmation that the camera will be coming soon-ish.

The game looks pretty cool. I'd prefer a more mature theme, but it still look a'ight.

Okay, so does like the PSP Go Cam just like not work at all? I was thinking of ordering one of ebay, but.......I dont want it to be some cheap thing that has no chance of working. It wont damage my PSP or anything will it? And I SO want this game. It looks rad! Anyone know when it will come out in stores?
