Maybe I should get 3 more drums for guitar hero 5.

Translation: we have stock that isn't moving.

I doubt there are hidden warehouses in salt mines guards by the 3rd Urth Dwarf Army.

More then likely a couple of pallets of these things fell or something, cause of the damaged boxes.

Oh great, fall-damaged instrument peripherals. They sound reliable.

The company line is most likely true, stuff gets lost or ignored in warehouses all the time.

Case in point, the Atari Jaguar games I picked up while back at my local when they were discovered somewhere in the stock room

Walmart has the GHWT band pack for the 360 for $99 since at least Saturday (Oddly, EBGames doesn't have the 360 pack on sale). Maybe they're trying to keep up with the lower price...

Man, you go into a BB or a Gamestop and these things are stacked to the ceiling. I was wondering if they would ever realize that they had bought way too much of these games and there were only so many customers left.

I'm thinking of buying the RB1 SE and then my friend will give me the rock band 2 disc. You guys think that the instruments of RB2 are much better/worth the extra 30 bucks?

I played the set all of a day before losing interest.

But the concensus is that the RB2 drums are superiors to the RB1 set. I can't say much about the guitar. It's plastic.

RB1 stuff will break, it will ALWAYS break eventually.

RB2 drums are far superior.

I agree with the comments about the drums, but the RB1 drums were at least usable.

The RB1 guitar, on the other hand, with its mushy, imprecise strum bar, was a piece of crap and was completely unusable for fast sequences. The RB2 wireless guitar on the other hand, is very good and is my favorite plastic guitar so far.

The RB2 kit is really worth the extra dough.

If you're choosing between one or the other for your first set, RB2 definitely.

Anything I'm interested in (RB2 and GH2 for 360) was depleted a while ago. I pondered it for several hours today, but ultimately I decided I'd rather clear off my debt to friends/family.

...which I will probably kick myself for.

Hey i dont know if its a good thing im telling you but RB:SE for XB360 is back in stock .. i just got it after thinking i lost the deal as well

hmmmm, surprised none of this applies to the Wii version of the games (except GHIII but I digress)

I'm miffed to see the Xbox guitar edition of GH: World Tour is not included on the deal. Could have used a new guitar.

Here I am trying to sale off my Limited Edition Rock Band 1 set plus extra guitar. This stuff just takes up too much room. Loved while we played it but now it's an eye sore.

I know it's well after the fact, but I just got hosed on this deal. I jumped on it as soon as it started, I got the RB2 360 bundle while it still said "in stock". Just today, more than a week after the fact, I get a "your order has been canceled" email. I called them and they gave me all sorts of excuses about being out of stock and not having accurate inventory. I call foul. They planned and executed a "blowout sale", they knew exactly how many they had. Regardless, even after talking to managers, I walked away with nothing. They weren't willing to budge or even attempt to make it right. Booo GameStop, boooooo! Shame on them.
