In the horrifying world of the film Gamer, sweatpants-wearing nobodies are given the ability to control actual prisoners in the world's most visceral first-person shooter. That's right, someone's finally taken the leap and mixed The Most Dangerous Game with The Wizard and InnerSpace. Oh, and they put Gerard Butler in it!

We especially enjoy the film's official description which says its "set in a near future when gaming and entertainment have evolved into a terrifying new hybrid." Wait, gaming and entertainment? Together? What hath God wrought?
