If you're willing to drop bundles of real-life cash for a bit of virtual notoriety, Turn 10 has got a deal that should tickle your unusual fancy. The U.S. Gamestop-exclusive limited edition bundle for Forza Motorsport 3 will hit store shelves in October, selling at $79.99, and giving its purchasers a 2GB USB dongle, a few extra cars, a dashboard theme and a "Forza Motorsport VIP Membership."
What does this exclusive title give you? According to the Gamestop listing, the benefits of being a Very Important Person include "special treatment within the online Auction House, Community Storefront and on the Forzamotorsport.net forums," as well as five additional exclusive vehicles. The type of "special treatment" offered is still unknown, but our money's on virtual sensual footrubs.

I thought it was just a regular flash drive, maybe with some Forza related decals on it.

you know i am starting to hate this pre-order/ buy here gimmick that stores have going on. why the hell do some people get an advantage for buying a game earlier than others or get something that no one else can have just because they bought it at a different place.
I know it doesn't have much to do with a limited edition or anything it just bugs me.
GOW2 had the gold gun(which was pointless)
one of the call of duty games started you out with the m1 grand
another game boosted your multiplayer stat to start at a higher level than others.
plus everything gamestop is doing
its just getting stupid.

@ sickness
So he's automatically a PS fanboy now for criticizing the game? Someone likes to make broad assumptions.

Have you seen the low res textures? I don't buy that blurry effect.
Just so you know- I don't own a PS3 and I own a 360. I will not be picking this game up though.

"2GB USB dongle"?
Do they mean a flash/thumb/USB drive?
I always considered a dongle, a Bluetooth dongle, to add Bluetooth compatiblity, or something else along those lines...

Have they announced support for any better wheels than the Microsoft one?
Logitech G25 support would be a good step in the right direction.

Ya, the Fanatec Porsche wheel. Too bad they're limited edition and the wait list is ridculous. Hopefully they produce a high quality unlimited release.

Well, they are giving you 4 months to pay it off... The way I look at it, pre order it now and you can put 20 bucks a month on it until it comes out. That's what I always do. Plus I put my old crap towards it too. Just need to find out who has the better deals between GS and Wally world.

The extra vehicles are just going to be released to everyone after a few months, if not sooner than that.
