How unfair is it that Warriors Orochi Z isn't coming to North America?! So unfair, especially since the first 25 games, known as Warriors Orochi A-Y, were such major hits here. OK, clearly we know nothing about the series, but it seemed worth mentioning Siliconera's confirmation that the compilation won't make it across the Pacific.
Actually we do know a little something about Warriors Orochi Z: when it released in Japan, it beat down Resident Evil 5 on the sales charts. Our condolences go out to the unspecified number of people devastated by Z news. There's always importing -- and learning Japanese.

Well, this saddens me. Even less of a chance of getting a 360 port of it =/

It's not entirely the same at all since they added a few new characters and scenarios to Orochi X

And I just imported this game from eBay yesterday. I heard from other forums that Koei wasn't bringing this game over here anyway, but they are putting Warriors Orochi Z additions (characters, scenarios, etc.) on the PSP version of Warriors Orochi 2.
Sad news indeed...

"Warriors Orochi Z" is anyway Crap, garbage and rubbish!
The new announced KOEI games "Warriors Legends of Troy" and "Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll" are much better than "Warriors Orochi Z" !

What? Why? I was gonna get this! It has EVERY SINGLE warriors character EVER in ONE GAME! I've never been a huge warriors fan, but for a completionist like me getting all the characters i've been hacking away with on and off for years in one package was a dream come true.
Dammit! Well, maybe there will be an orochi warriors 3 with the bladestorm characters mixed in. One can always hope.
... And the gundams too.

You don't need to give them condolence. All they need is a point and a good 'ol HA-HA! in their faces. Same goes to all the fools overseas who buy all of that junk-on-a-disc. Seriously - are all Japanese gamers THAT stupid?

What!!! Why!!! You allowed Dynasty Warriors: Empire and Xtreme Legends in the US, but not this game. I hope this is a rumor and a lie. Come on, Koei. This is probably the one everybody wants to play if they have a PS3. Koei, change your mind now. Everybody is going to protest this.

So...what exactly are we missing out on here?
Orochi Z is just Orochi 1 + 2 + some extra characters? (what, 2 or 3?)
I played through Orochi 1 pretty quickly, but Orochi 2 is requiring a lot more mindless grinding to unlock the later stages.
My main complaint about the games is the lack of story lines. Orochi 1 had 4, and Orochi 2 has 5. Meanwhile, DW6 had somewhat unique stories for every character (a lot of shared stages and cutscenes)
