Last week GamerDNA launched TweetMyGaming.com, a Twitter stat tracking site covering games. Using fancy mathematicals and internet juice, TweetMyGaming follows the 140-character conversations in the Twitterverse in real-time.
Tweets and play patterns are graphed by the site, with the percentages on the homepage displaying the daily increase or decrease of tweets for that particular game. The "attention numbers" found on specific game pages are based off gamerDNA data. We're definitely curious to see how the site evolves, not to mention that we love statisticals.

yea KZ2 online really went down.. for me I just got turned off by $5.99 MP that only had 2 maps with 2 more coming in June. I would much rather have had to just buy one MP for $9.99 and hopefully when the new maps release they'll bundle them together.
I played Resistance 2 more often than KZ2 because there was so much to unlock and easier to just get a party stared up without worrying if the room is full or the "world". Both games are fun but FPS's don't keep my attention for much. I love Socom which has a one life per round system which is much more tactical and challenging because; communication and teamwork is the key in games like that.
Also its hard to find a good game on KZ2 with good settings most of the time I end up in a game with 30 mins rounds for each mode and the game drags on for hours.

since i just made a new account, i'm still the first level in killzone. and for some reason, it keeps saying network error right before the end of the game, so i still have 0 points. it's frustrating. and i didn't know what the patch did because of that, but it's good to know that those damn sentries actually are worth using now.

Really? Of all the worthwhile events that happen throughout the average person's day, gaming is the only useful subject to tweet about? I'm an admitted twitter addict, but I've yet to tweet about gaming. G
"@Pikachu Ness and I totally owned ur face in brawl!"
"@Ubisoft why'd you have to make the prince such a prick?"
"@Harmonix I can please have some Radiohead DLC?!?"

Tell me I'm not the only one who doesn't understand the fascination with Twitter, specifically the infatuation the media seems to have with it. From what I gather, Twitter is just basically a social networking status updater (a la Facebook's status updates) just without anything else.

You hit the nail on the head, buddy.
Twitter = Facebook status - Everything else on Facebook
Oh, except you can also read entries from people you don't know. Next thing you know, Twitter will be expanded past 140 characters. People will be posting whole articles you can subscribe to and comment on. A kind of "log" on the Internet.
The media is obsessed with Twitter because they're butthurt about being late to the party regarding Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, and pretty much every other major online phenomenon.

Here I thought it was going to be a compendium of twitters from important people in the industry, why do I care if some random dude played Call of Duty 4 yesterday?!

Sorry Indy but that's totally different. I wouldn't care if you were to tell me what you played yesterday, but depending on what you had to say about it I might care what your opinion of it was.
