I'm a little peeved at this news. Hagar was a major influence in the band and took them in a whole new direction (some like that, some don't). NOT including him is an insult to the band. The 3rd guy was a DB and i'm surprised people remember his name. David Lee Roth doesn't deserve to be in this game or the band, which is why they haven't kicked him out numerous times.

GH:VH without "Right Now" is like Pac-Man without pellets.

I'd say GH:VH without Hagar and "Right Now" is more like Pac-Man without Ms. Pac-Man.

What about Michael Anthony? Are they just going to snub him completely too? Considering Wolfgang Van Halen (Eddie's son and current bassist for the band) wasn't born until 1991, way after the first Roth era of the band, I'm going to be pretty annoyed if that's who I'm playing with the whole time. There better be a Jack Daniels bass guitar in there too.

No Sammy, no deal. What kind of fools does Activision think we are?

The same kind of fools that would buy every new game in the series and then probably turn around and buy Guitar Hero Smash Hits just so they could re-live it all... I know normally I would fit into that category but this time I refuse. Shame on you Activision.

I couldn't care for Gary Cherone's contribution, but Sammy Hagar was a big part of Van Halen, 5150 and For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge are two great albums (plus OU812 and Balance) makes up more than a third of thier catalogue. I saw Van Hagar play in UK in around '93, it was the first time in the UK for 9 years and they played for about 3 hours!

I am a huge fan and will get this game - Diamond Dave was my fave, though only saw his solo tour not with VH.

Seen this it er um could be fake!
