Joyswag: Rare Alan Wake goodies from E3 [update]

Update: Congratulations to Joyswag winner heyo007! Sweet dreams ...

After emptying our pockets post-E3, we came across some nifty Alan Wake swag that was tucked away in the side pockets of our carpenter jeans. And, in Joystiq tradition, we're giving it all away to one lucky reader.

Up for grabs is an exclusive (and quite rare) Alan Wake E3 faceplate that's numbered 477 out of 500 and an attractive Alan Wake t-shirt (sized XL, of course). If you think about it, the swag pairing makes logical sense: the faceplate covers your Xbox 360 and the tee covers your buff, naked self.

we are going on vacation soon so my nightmare was about ourplane going down. Its not much but its a scary possibility.

flying is much safer than driving. i'm sure you know this, but the danger is perceived because it's always shown on TV whenever it happens. i don't remember the numbers but you could fly every second of your life and the chance of even a minor incident is exceptionally low.

anyway, i have a hard time remembering my dreams/nightmares. i had one recently where i was basically Dexter Morgan, hiding/running away when people were after me. not a traditional nightmare but it was pretty freaky.

I had a nightmare about a man made out of sliced onions, only he was in claymation, just sitting there watching TV and eating chips on my couch and watching TV, while I was cowering in absolute fear in the other corner of the couch, and for some reason I was Montana Max from tiny toons

but that was like 12 years ago so i guess that doesnt count. Last week I was an ODST and I dropped out of the pillar of autumn onto Halo, and when I got out of my drop pod there was an entirely new type of flood, actually it looks like the daigon (?) from the Halo 2 collectors edition deleted stuff, and it ripped my right in half

In my dreams I was a cop working for the NYPD.

One day I went home and I found the dead body of my wife and my baby girl.
12 years after that incident I was send to Brazil. I was bald, had a horrible beard, and looked like a psycho dad.
My years of being a hard boiled cop and his noirs adventures were over.

My last nightmare was where Vectorman and Ristar were on their way to the auditions for Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing and how they had a crazy taxi ride on the way there, but the guy driving was Iwata of Nintendo fame (who is actually a Snatcher), and he shot them both in the face and dumped the car into a lake, but hitting Ryo and Orta on the way and the taxi landed on Ecco under the water. Iwata then dressed up like Silver the Hedgehog and went into the SEGA Europe building...

I was walking down the streets of Seattle. I turned a corner, and on the far side of the street, I saw a shadowy figure. It was wearing a trenchcoat and due to the heavy fog, I couldn't make out whoever it was. I squinted and shouted, "Hello?". The figure turned first its head, and then its body to face me. It slowly marched towards me. A tingling feeling crept up my spine, but I decided not to act upon my instincts and to first see the creature. As it approached me, I could make out its face, and to my surprise, it was the face of Professor Farnsworth of Futurama. Incredulously, I asked, "Professor Farnsworth, is that you?!". He replied, "Good news, everyone! No!". At that, he took off the mask I mistakenly thought was his face and revealed the mug of Justin McElroy. As I opened my mouth to scream, he opened his own until it was my size and swallowed me whole.

To all Joystiq Readers: Back the f**k off. This one is mine.

It was weird.. for some reason I was sentenced to life in prison. If you think about it.. it would really suck having to spend the rest of your life in prison.

When I was a kid I used to have something called " night fright " and I would just wake up randomly screaming at the top of my lungs and my parents would rush in and wake me up. It finally stopped when I was about 12 and last week it happened again for the time in YEARS. My parents had to wake me up ( im home for the summer from college ) .... and the scary part to me is, i have not ONCE remembered the dream that makes me so scared.

I had a nightmarish dream recently that my Dad was helping me with some work on my new house and he cut off two of his fingers with a power saw and while I was rushing him to the hospital he was yelling at me about how I was driving.

It was a lot more scary in the dream than it sounds.

Lately, I've been playing so much Fallout 3 that I actually dreamed I was in the post-apocalyptic world - VATS and all.

It was strange because all my friends were there too and were acting like it was no big deal, and I kept trying to explain to them what had happened and how to survive out there in the Wasteland.

Yes, I am slightly addicted to Fallout 3.

My ex-girlfriend was ripping my lips off. She had force-fed me painkillers so that I don't pass out from the pain, allowing me to be conscious through it all. I woke up and felt my lips, laughed and went back to sleep. I never could look at her the same.
