yeah, i've seen some people survive grenades that were less than 5 feet away from them. call of duty grenades have much bigger range.

Coming into this, I wasn't expecting the world, but to my surprise, I'm genuinely very happy with it, and it's hooked me in quite a bit. This is how I think Gears multiplayer should be, but that's just me.

This game doesn't have bad spawn camping or killing. There are 3 spawn areas for a team when too many enemies are close to a spawn area. You can climb faster too, just keep hitting X and your guy will scale a small building in no time.

I do agree there are some small balancing issues, but its not enough to keep me from playing.

Hey Jerses, don't bad mouth Resistance 2, no one is forcing to get that many kills. I liked that trophy actually, gives an incentive to show other players that you're a bad ass.

At least you don't have to collect a million roses like in Katamari Damacy, that was torture.

I've had fun playing it. It plays like Gears although with more "stop and pop" than I think even Gears intended to have. Running and shooting without getting killed in the Uncharted 2 beta didn't work too well for me lol.

i love the dragunov and the M4 so much. run and gunning with the dragunov is so funny. it's more powerful up close than the shotguns! and the riot shield is really fun too. the beta gets really old after a little while, but if you play with friends, it becomes fun again. i can't wait for uncharted 2 to come out!

oh, and i hope there are some multiplayer trophies. killzone 2 had a nice balance of single player and online trophies.

XMB invites are really crummy. I thank my lucky starts they are outside the XMB in this game.

It's really dumb Rock Band and R2 invites actually sit in your inbox. These things are useless a couple hours after you get them, so why do they stick around?

Hope to god they don't focus most of their efforts on the multiplayer and if they do they look at the community forums long and hard before they finish beta testing because a lot of changes need to be made. I enjoyed the first Uncharted and I hope the singleplayer in the second is great because the Multiplayer Beta was terrible.

of course they are going to focus on the single player game first and foremost. this is just a nice little incentive to keep the life of the game afterwords. especially if they include new maps as dlc.

i like the beta so far. i have more fun sometimes than in others depending on the group. to everybody complaining about the inclusion of multiplayer, go back a little while when games were being dinged in reviews for not having it. especially ps3 games. i saw complaints about lack of multiplayer in games like heavenly sword and assassins creed.

They've turned what should be an Indiana Jones / Tomb Raider style adventure game into yet another generic wartime FPS. They don't make original games anymore, they just pander to their existing online gamer community.

Evan wtf are you talking about, the game has a full campaign people, I am sure they have 2 teams working on Multi/Single, some like Coke some like Pepsi get over it.


There is a few things they could fix and I am sure they will ND is a good company Uncharted 1 was wicked fun and since I am a huge fan of Multiplayer I was wishing it had Uncharted style play now I do sweet.


I hope they put more Melee animations in the game and maybe a grenade cook to stop the spam. Other than that is hella fun!!!

I hate how big and sluggish the bullets are. Someone was running across the map and I aimed and shot at them when they were in my aiming reticule and by the time the bullet got there, they were clear out of the way. That's just wrong.
