Assassin's Creed 2 debuts in Europe on November 20

Yesterday, we told you about the fancy Assassin's Creed 2 bundle that was confirmed for Europe. With all the details given about that bundle, one critical piece of information was missing: when it's coming out. Well, now you diorama builders know how long you have to craft the perfect backdrop for that Ezio figurine (compared above with the official art of Ezio in a different costume) -- and also when you'll be able to play the game.

Ubisoft told Eurogamer that Assassin's Creed 2, in both regular and "Black Edition," will be released on November 20 in Europe, just three days after the North American launch date. Unfortunately for American shelves, Ubisoft still has yet to confirm the "Black Edition" for North America -- but it seems likely that American fans will be given the opportunity to spend more money as well.

i like the alternate costume a bit, but it would be better if they didn't change the color of the hood. that hood looks strange...

I think that the alternate costume is for night-time assassination.

if so i hope they make the figurine a lot better than the altair one... they fuxed that one up pretty bad.

I usually am not a sucker for these types of things, at all. But I could probably be conned into a special edition of AC2, provided the price isn't ludicrous (in the $100 range is fine, $120 is really pushing it). The figure looks cool, and I would imagine the art would be worth having as well.

You do realise that he looks the same in both editions right? The alternate costume is accessable later in the game.

It looks like the statue is a representation of upgrades you can buy from the various merchants around the city.

huh, I hope not, isnt the whole point that the characters be tied to each other and the Assassin's by the red and white? I mean new knives and swords and stuffs like the first one is cool. but im not sure I like that if that's how upgrades will actually look

Assassin's Creed 2 collector's edition= Count me in!!! I got the collector's edition for AC 1 and this looks to have cooler extras! The Ezio figure looks sweet! Are both versions of the figure going to be packaged with the game? Maybe North America will get more extras!

If is as good as the first AC Collector's edition we aren't missing much.

The collectors edition fo the first AC included an ad for the complete Guide and Art book,a poorly drawn penny arcade comic and a bunch of trailers you could see on higher definition on youtube.The Altair figurine was okay.
