I felt a great disturbance in the Force. As if millions of wallets suddenly screamed out in terror and then suddenly emptied.

DUDE...I'm going to be playing a shit ton of games this year.

Though honestly the only games I'm super excited for is Splinter Cell Conviction and Mass Effect Deuce.

Has there ever been a year where a shit-load ton of great games didn't come out? Its the same each year, lose a chunk of my annual income towards gaming bliss.....

Well 2008 I hardly played anything, but 2007...sweet Zombie Jesus that year was packed with fantastic games:

Halo 3
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Assassin's Creed
BioShock
Crackdown
Orange Box
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Wait I remember some more:

Ace Combat 6
Super Mario Galaxy
Rockband
Mass Effect
God of War II

...who put that year of gaming together? They should be shot. I'm still making my way through most of those games.

Thank you!!!!!! I was thinking the same thing, its a huge deal that Dave Grossman is back doing Monkey Island. When I first heard rumors of Monkey Island DLC I was really worried because there are only 3 people who are allowed to be involved in a REAL monkey island game:

Ron Gilbert
Dave Grossman
Tim Schafer

I think it's pretty much finalized that Microsoft "won" E3 this year.

how do you figure? if we are talking about actual games sony won hands down. Most of these games listed are multiplayer! Sony listed AAA exclusives , showed amazing trailers, and showed a live demo of a sub milimeter accurate 1:1 motion controller. I guess opinions are opinions, but ps3 had a way better showing of actual games.

Ummm....these games are coming out this year. The only AAA game PS3 has left this year is Uncharted 2. What else do we have to look forward to?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
In my eyes Nintendo's conference got beaten with an Ugly stick ;)

Shadow Complex FTW. With Super Metroid being one of my favorite games of all time, Mega Man being one of my favorite old school franchises, and Contra being awesome, this was the coolest looking game at E3, and I will finally buy a 360 just to play it.

@unboring

Sony has all of. . .what? 3 exclusives that aren't coming to the 360 as well, one of which won't be out until next year? And project Natal blew Sony's motion whatever out of the water.

How many of these are "timed" exclusives? And how many of them does anyone actually care about?

No game list? Then I think I'll stay firmly in the "unimpressed" side. The only titles I can think of worth bothering for the PS3 are Heavy Rain and maybe Uncharted 2. FF Vs. 13 didn't even get a mention at E3, and FF 13 will be on both consoles. So yeah, nothing especially impressive.

Lol, there are like 2 decent exclusives (Halo ODST and Forza 3) on the list. Any of those other games you can play on PC or PS3. No big excitement here.

As far as I'm concerned, Bioshock 2 ant get here fast enough.

Crackdown 2, Forza 3, and Beatles Rock Band is looking good. I'm on the fence about Castlevania, since the 3-D ones usually end up being pretty lame.

Alan Wake is starting to grow on me, but I'm still skeptical it will end up being the 360's Shenmue.
