The Eurogamer Expo is all set to kick off this October in London and Leeds. Publishers confirmed to attend the public event are: Sony, Microsoft, EA, Eidos, Sega, Bethesda Softworks, Konami and Capcom. The show will start in Leeds on Oct. 27 and 28, then travel to London's Old Billingsgate on Oct 30 and All Hallows' Eve. Tickets to the event are 6 lbs. of ... oh, sorry, £6.
The GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair wil also be part of the show, which will give students a chance to interview with global companies. Probably a good idea, given the state of the English development scene.
London will also have the GameOn! expo -- also associated with HMV -- a couple weeks later, but details and publisher attendence for that event aren't confirmed.

Would you go to Europe after you raised the cost of your system? No.

Although the games that will be there aren't yet announced, Nintendo are listed as one of the partners. The official site is here:

And they were there last year, so I'd expect the same this year.

I have sent this around to a few of my mates, should be a good few days out, E3 is a bit out of our league. Few are on Games degrees to so may jump at the chance to intro themselves to various companies.
Also its like 5AM over here, I'm up way too late, but surely this would hit target demographic in maybe 4 hours or later?

Hello there, I'm the community & gaming manager for this years Eurogamer Expo.
@tim & @sora
The list of publishers we've released is just the first wave. There will be further announcements in the next couple of weeks and I wouldn't be surprised if the publishers you've mentioned are part of that. ;)
@RobLink
You're correct, the Expo is very much a consumer rather than a trade event. However, the scale is much larger this year and we do have some surprises lined up that are very exciting.
@Manly Mcbeefington
I'm definitely putting that on a poster. ;)
