Good point. I was just about to bitch about "With a little help from my friends" not being on there, but then I realized that if everything was on there, they couldn't make fat stacks of DLC money off of us later.

First DLC prediction: Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever pack.

Yeah, Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane listing is no mistake, they've obviously planned them to be DLC since they're like Beatle's song brothers

I'm disappointed too. It's my favorite Beatles song. Hopefully it gets released as DLC or something although, let's face it, there are a lot more popular songs that aren't on that list that they'd release before Rocky Raccoon (see: pretty much every other comment of this post).

My biggest "not popular" request would probably be "She's leaving home".

You are right though. The less known songs will probably be coming dead last. I'm noticing that Hey Jude and Yesterday aren't even on there, nor is Eleanor Rigby. I'm not sure how much of it is a licensing issue though, since the rights to some of their songs were stolen out from under them. It'll be interesting to find out which songs they can and can't get the rights to use in the game.

Now you can pay more than 250 dollars (60 if you buy the stand alone game)
But whatever more Beatles sounds good to me...

DOWNLOADABLE ALBUMS will solve most of our complaints...i'm hoping for the entire collection...and I don't see why it can't / won't happen. They already announced Abbey Road as the 1st DLC Album.

No Hey Jude, no Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, NO LOVELY RITA. Oh well.

If anything, I'm mostly pumped for Abbey Road. I hope there's an option to play the enitre 'B' side as one whole song, seeing as that was the "concept" part of the album.

@longhorn
I find your statement about them not being memorable hilarious. I just got into them a month or so, and one of the most positive things I can say about them is that there is such a large amount of their songs that are VERY memorable, it's one of their best traits. I used to be ignorant and avoid them because they were popular but I'm very glad I gave them a shot, one of my favorite bands now, easily.

back on topic: It's a great list, but I'm disappointed by the lack of mmt/sgt pepper. in fact, hell, revolver and rubber soul too. I hope all four of those get DLC albums. There's too much goodness not to be had. stinks that there's so many songs that are exclusively piano, unless they finally release a piano peripheral (i'd be all over it)

only potential problem I'll have with the game is that most of the songs will not really be challenging, but whatever, i'll have RB2/DLC for that.

Can't wait!
