Rumor: The Beatles: Rock Band track list leaked [update: Harmonix says nope]
It reads like so many rhythm/music game releases in the past -- the ubiquitous track list leak. The Beatles: Rock Band is still a few months off from its September 9 release date but Ripten has gotten its hands on a leaked list of the possible tracks from the game (found after the break).
The list does include the three tracks we checked out in our hands-on with the game at E3, though it also looks an awful lot like a list of Beatles singles across their career. Ripten notes that the ten tracks found in the glorious opening to the game are all included in its leaked list -- and it is approximately the same amount of tracks we know the game will be shipping with -- though we've yet to receive any official confirmation or denial from MTV Games, Harmonix, or EA.
Update: A Harmonix spokesperson has confirmed to us that this leaked list of songs is definitely not the track list for The Beatles: Rock Band, saying, "The rumored 'leaked' list is not the disc track listing for The Beatles: Rock Band. We'll be announcing more tracks throughout the summer. Stay tuned to thebeatlesrockband.com for the most up to date information about disc songs and downloadable content!"

Uhm Strawberry fields is missing = instant fail!
time @ Jun 14th 2009 10:31PM
They can't make DLC money if they include all the hits!
BananaBoat @ Jun 14th 2009 11:32PM
Good point. I was just about to bitch about "With a little help from my friends" not being on there, but then I realized that if everything was on there, they couldn't make fat stacks of DLC money off of us later.
First DLC prediction: Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever pack.
Calvin @ Jun 15th 2009 12:29AM
Yeah, Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane listing is no mistake, they've obviously planned them to be DLC since they're like Beatle's song brothers
Sly [PSN SniperChameleon] @ Jun 14th 2009 10:06PM
if this list is true, i will buy it. and that sweet rickenbacker controller.
Kevin Anderson @ Jun 14th 2009 10:07PM
TWIST AND SHOUT!!!!!!!
karmaghost @ Jun 15th 2009 12:29PM
God save our vocal chords.

No Strawberry Fields Forever!?
Dante Sparda @ Jun 14th 2009 10:08PM
So glad Help! and Come Together are on there.
Alexander @ Jun 14th 2009 10:09PM
No Rocky Racoon? lame.
GoldN @ Jun 14th 2009 10:55PM
I'm disappointed too. It's my favorite Beatles song. Hopefully it gets released as DLC or something although, let's face it, there are a lot more popular songs that aren't on that list that they'd release before Rocky Raccoon (see: pretty much every other comment of this post).
Hunter @ Jun 14th 2009 11:22PM
Yah, but that would be more fun with Piano Hero
BananaBoat @ Jun 14th 2009 11:43PM
My biggest "not popular" request would probably be "She's leaving home".
You are right though. The less known songs will probably be coming dead last. I'm noticing that Hey Jude and Yesterday aren't even on there, nor is Eleanor Rigby. I'm not sure how much of it is a licensing issue though, since the rights to some of their songs were stolen out from under them. It'll be interesting to find out which songs they can and can't get the rights to use in the game.
nilsen31 @ Jun 14th 2009 10:14PM
It's impossible to find a bad Beatles song, this game and it's success was/is inevitable...now...about that Led Zeppelin Rock Band...
Sly [PSN SniperChameleon] @ Jun 14th 2009 10:43PM
led zeppelin rock band would be my dream come true
ChiTownRuler23 @ Jun 15th 2009 12:37AM
ugh instant cream in my pants if LZ: Rockband is announced.
Tehman @ Jun 14th 2009 10:11PM
Don't worry guys!
D
L
C
Now you can pay more than 250 dollars (60 if you buy the stand alone game)
But whatever more Beatles sounds good to me...
HaVoC @ Jun 15th 2009 12:45AM
And the first DLC song should be "Money"
nilsen31 @ Jun 14th 2009 10:15PM
DOWNLOADABLE ALBUMS will solve most of our complaints...i'm hoping for the entire collection...and I don't see why it can't / won't happen. They already announced Abbey Road as the 1st DLC Album.
jorojoserojas @ Jun 14th 2009 10:17PM
Well, at least I'll get "The End" whenever Abbey Road is released.
Nathew @ Jun 14th 2009 11:08PM
that would make for a great drum solo!
Magnum @ Jun 15th 2009 12:10PM
No strawberry fields, hey jude, or twist and shout.
BOOOOOO!
m0dz121 @ Jun 16th 2009 7:36AM
This supposedly isn't the real list regardless, but I definitely read Twist and Shout on the list...
JPerezJr26 @ Sep 10th 2009 12:57AM
I seen twist and shout available for downloading on Xbox 360...
eastsidexhusalah @ Jun 14th 2009 10:22PM
Led Zeppelin: Rock Band would be epic win, all of their songs are meant to be rocked on by plastic instruments

sonicspike41 @ Jun 15th 2009 1:40AM
Pfft, and people wonder why we bother to read Joystiq when they post stories late.
These comments alone are reason enough to read Joystiq.
Sly [PSN SniperChameleon] @ Jun 15th 2009 1:48AM
albinogoldfish, your presence made the whole thread even better because of your 300 avatar xD

I know right!
rkrocks123 @ Jun 14th 2009 10:27PM
I really don't care if this track list is real or not. In fact, I don't care one bit about the track list. I already know that I'm going to purchase this on 9/9/09.
Will @ Jun 14th 2009 10:28PM
Zep would be cool, but personally I'd like to see Pink Floyd.
But I'm sure someday they'll get to that.
OMGOMG @ Jun 14th 2009 10:32PM
No Hey Jude, no Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, NO LOVELY RITA. Oh well.
If anything, I'm mostly pumped for Abbey Road. I hope there's an option to play the enitre 'B' side as one whole song, seeing as that was the "concept" part of the album.
Chad Vanderbilt (Moptimus in Disguise) @ Jun 14th 2009 11:04PM
how the fuck would you play the first 5 minutes of Hey Jude?
Sindox @ Jun 14th 2009 10:39PM
Amazing tracklist, I'm getting this game =]
Longhorn of Myon [PSN: MariusElijah] @ Jun 14th 2009 10:40PM
Never heard any of those songs
Sly [PSN SniperChameleon] @ Jun 14th 2009 10:45PM
wouldn't it just be easier to say you haven't heard the beatles?
Longhorn of Myon [PSN: MariusElijah] @ Jun 14th 2009 10:51PM
Dont know whats so great about them, they are so boring not one of their songs is memorable hence I dont recognize any of those ^^
grover96 @ Jun 14th 2009 10:56PM
Don't worry. There is plenty Naked Brothers Band and Paramore for you.
Brent @ Jun 14th 2009 10:57PM
@longhorn
I find your statement about them not being memorable hilarious. I just got into them a month or so, and one of the most positive things I can say about them is that there is such a large amount of their songs that are VERY memorable, it's one of their best traits. I used to be ignorant and avoid them because they were popular but I'm very glad I gave them a shot, one of my favorite bands now, easily.
back on topic: It's a great list, but I'm disappointed by the lack of mmt/sgt pepper. in fact, hell, revolver and rubber soul too. I hope all four of those get DLC albums. There's too much goodness not to be had. stinks that there's so many songs that are exclusively piano, unless they finally release a piano peripheral (i'd be all over it)
only potential problem I'll have with the game is that most of the songs will not really be challenging, but whatever, i'll have RB2/DLC for that.
Can't wait!
Chad Vanderbilt (Moptimus in Disguise) @ Jun 14th 2009 11:01PM
You shut your whore mouth about Paramore
ThatPCgameryouhate @ Jun 14th 2009 11:03PM
WHERE IS PARAMORE TO BREAK UP THIS CONSTANT FIGHTING?!!?!?!?!
