Well no it doesn't say that, although its generally insinuated throughout, and when you take the picture of a load of people playing air guitar...

First Line:

440 European fans got together this past weekend to fake-play guitar all at the same time.

Minus all the prepositional phrases.

Wow, I wanted to go to Download so bad this year, especially after seeing the full lineup, but living in the US and not having money for plane tickets kinda puts a damper on that.

Oh well, at least i get to enjoy Mayhem fest in August.

Since when are people who go to outdoor events, like a music festival, nerds or virgins ?

I think they're doing more than the people complaining on joystiq.

I was there! :)

Suprised it wasn't a bigger number seeing as there was 75000 people at the festival, but still pretty cool. Think one of the bands that performed on the main stage also took part in this, so a lot of the people may just have been their fans tying to get close or something.

I went by the EA place but to be honest it was really boring, most people only went there because it offered shade and was enxt to the water taps.

Help people get through the drawn out DTV switch, computer repair, visited friends, gathered thoughts on research I want to do, eat, shit, filled out grad school applications, played Animal Crossing, slept, helped my sister move, wrote congress about issues, singed up for the GRE test, and mowed the yard every couple of days. I'm also looking for a new pair of roller blades to squeeze some more exercise into my day.

Sure what I've been doing is hardly all noble, but when hasn't air guitar equaled anything except loser? And I never said going to music festival makes you a loser, just the 440 people that were there partaking in the air guitar stunt were.

This is getting annoying when you go to apply to a comment and it doesn't work. I realized I failed. Go ahead and yell, "FAIL" and mark me down. I deserve it.

Not only do you fail for not replying to the right comment, but also because you honestly thought mgsrocks1 wanted to know what you did that day. Why don't you take some time off of filling out grad school applications and check out the dictionary definition for "rhetorical." But basically, instead of going to a music festival, you did a bunch of boring shit like the rest of us. Then you called them losers for playing air-guitar (which I'm sure none of them even took it as seriously as you did). Even if they are losers, at least they had fun. You asshat.

If you have to put "eat" and "slept" in a list of activities you've did that day, it just confirms even more so that you're a lazy ass.

there was another record for biggest circle pit but that was only because EA got them in for this
plus devil driver will never get that record because there's no way of measuring it and getting how many people were involved
people are wearing brutal legend t-shirts because it was easier to know who was taking part in the record for air guitaring, mine's in the wash atm :D

the download festival is by far one of the best festivals out there. i went and it was awesome.

@chris1007: there was more than 75000. it was about 120,000 if you include those who only came down for one day.

@anyone commenting on lack off girls: there was a ridiculous amount of hot girls, quite a few getting the boobs out for the stage cameras and even a lesbian show a few tents over from me on the sunday night

I'm still not really interested in this game. I like the games humor, but I'm not too impressed with the game play that I've seen so far. I think my fall game is going to be Demons Soul's.

lol you guys get so excited over newly announced games and DLC that i often just assume you guys have a time machine that lets you play unreleased games. and i realize i do get advance copies for reviewing purposes but i'm talking about when companies first announce certain games.
