Still divided when it comes to this game.
AnnoyingPoster @ Jun 15th 2009 11:18PM
looks bad to me. wtf are they still using the damn doom 3 engine in 2009.
KeenCommander @ Jun 16th 2009 3:35AM
They're still using Source too, so what if they are...which it didn't look like in the video but w/e.
chrisnick @ Jun 15th 2009 10:28PM
me too
oh...off topic........just turned on my ps3 and saw this guy's profile, 44 platinums 3100 trophies, games being beaten it 2 days, games like pure, dead space and the like....except for kz2, which took 3, im depressed forever.
chrisnick @ Jun 15th 2009 10:29PM
i was trying to reply to imBakinBacon.
Ian @ Jun 15th 2009 10:51PM
dont be to sad, they probably don't have any life and played that 24/7. either that or has played it before, or somehow hacked it but i doubt it
PSN: John-Paul-Jones @ Jun 15th 2009 11:00PM
Man, I have two platinums and I thought I was the one who had no life..
the Sawyer family @ Jun 15th 2009 11:43PM
i think i know who you are talking about. i think that they are a bunch of friends that use the same account to rack up them trophies.
Sly [PSN SniperChameleon] @ Jun 16th 2009 12:37AM
dude, i don't have any platinum trophies. hell, i haven't gotten above 60% trophies in any game...
thecheesypoofs @ Jun 15th 2009 10:32PM
Is it me are all videos from the game very laggish ? Looks fun and all but very concerned on the choppiness of all videos from the game.
Hope it's just the videos and it won't be an issue, loved all Wolfenstein games.
PuBeLeSs @ Jun 16th 2009 12:50AM
its not you. makes me think this game will never be done
bluesky_v2.01 @ Jun 15th 2009 10:43PM
That has got to be one of the worst trailers I have ever seen. I was actually pretty excited about the game before I saw that.
Every frame in that trailer revealed some kind of graphical imperfection.
Or maybe, of course, it's just me. I've been spoiled by all this uncharted footage and such.
ImBakinBacon @ Jun 15th 2009 11:14PM
Yeah. Uncharted 2. PISSES ME OFF WHEN I THINK ABOUT IT NOW CUZ I DIDN'T GET A FREAKIN BETA CODE.
It looks nice though, uncharted 2 i mean.
relaxeder @ Jun 15th 2009 11:31PM
Yeah, I'm not sure what to think of this game either. I think it looks like it'll be a fun, solid game on its own, but as a Wolfenstein installment I can't tell yet.
Nazi ninjas... interesting.
Doombot (zuburi) @ Jun 15th 2009 11:39PM
Ninzas.
WREturns @ Jun 15th 2009 11:43PM
Nazjas.
Game_playa @ Jun 16th 2009 2:54PM
@WREturns
No, just no. Refrain from posting more comments to prevent embarrassing yourself further
elddm1 @ Jun 15th 2009 11:48PM
Awesome. But didn't F.E.A.R. have this in 2005?
Jason Statham (Aka Vegeta) @ Jun 15th 2009 11:58PM
Yeah, that looked pretty unimpressive. Also did anyone else get a Bioshock vibe from this?
Chris @ Jun 16th 2009 12:38AM
Most definitely a healthy dose of 'creative flattery'.
Danny F. @ Jun 16th 2009 8:09AM
I got a vibe with it being from FEAR. That enemy ninja that cloaks as well. Gave me too similar of a vibe.
They need to think of something a little more original, then again almost any combination of design you think of has been used one way or another :-\
Chris Are @ Jun 16th 2009 12:03AM
Never played Wolfenstein, but this reminds me of the Nazi dude in Hellboy- can't think of his name right now. Anyway, when did people start mixing the paranormal w/ the Nazis/ WWII? Just seems like an odd mix to me.
HaloBreaker @ Jun 16th 2009 2:09AM
Since 1992.
Doombot (zuburi) @ Jun 16th 2009 3:19AM
Since 1981.
(Raiders of the Lost Ark!)
CannabisPrime @ Jun 16th 2009 9:53AM
Hitler always had an interest in the occult, and it did play some part in the whole Nazi regime. It was common knowledge at the time. Hellboy, Wolfenstein, Raiders, etc., just went with it using a creative license.
Chris @ Jun 16th 2009 12:34AM
Bioshock with Nazis anyone?
Adam J. @ Jun 16th 2009 2:23AM
It's like the X-Men Origins: Wolverine version of Deadpool became a futuristic Nazi
Robert Maynard @ Jun 16th 2009 9:07AM
Same developer, so no surprise there.
Just add glowing eyes, a WW2 helmet, and swastikas and he's good to go!
KeenCommander @ Jun 16th 2009 3:37AM
Now with 1000% more Bioshock, randomness, not making any sense. Could be fun, don't get me wrong, but the ties to the franchise seem tenuous at best while the similarities to Bioshock are blatant.
mcbexx @ Jun 16th 2009 4:57AM
Ah, invisible enemies.
The cornerstone of every generic shooter.
Throw in some unskippable cutscenes and you got yourself a winner!
Chris D.(PSN: Aggie_CEO | XBL:The Aggie CEO | Steam: Aggie_CEO @ Jun 16th 2009 8:58AM
ummm some things were innovative years ago but as we have seen with the new Bionic Commando game it could easily be a sales flop not selling as much as the download only re-release...
with that said why does that Nazi remind me of Nightcrawler with blades??
Robert Maynard @ Jun 16th 2009 9:01AM
A half-hearted, nonsensical re-hash of an exhausted franchise? Lazy, "slap a swastika armband on every FPS trope you can think of" design? Activision? No sale!
Modex @ Jun 16th 2009 10:17AM
Anyone notice how similar they are to fear's assassins?
Kyle @ Jun 16th 2009 10:32AM
Is it me... or is the frame-rate god-awful?
uncle jesse @ Jun 16th 2009 1:13PM
Unfortunately, I just do Nazi much to get excited about here....
kal326 @ Jun 16th 2009 1:50PM
"Assassins do it in the dark."
Yeah well Rogues do it from behind.
