DSiWare also gets ... well, it's another set of clock and calculator apps. But they're exceptionally cute apps with Mario in them! That's still kind of worthwhile in our opinion. Maybe we just like making Mario coin sounds a little too much. Check after the break for the list of new downloads!
DSiWare
- Mario Calculator (Nintendo, 1 "player," 200 DSi Points) It's a calculator! With Mario imagery! It has a unit conversion utility, as well, though no idea if it will convert from dollars to Coins.
- Mario Clock (Nintendo, 1 "player," 200 DSi Points) It's a clock! With Mario imagery! This one actually lets you jump and pick up coins to unlock little animations. It also has up to three alarm clocks, in case you want to get tired of Mario sound effects (or your own DSi Sound creations) immediately.
- Eduardo the Samurai Toaster (Semnat Studios, 1-4 players, 800 Wii Points) A run-and-gun action game with four-player co-op, a variety of weapons and vehicles, and characters made of appliances.
- Rainbow Islands: Towering Adventure (Taito, 1-2 players, 800 Wii Points) Taito's refresh of the classic Bubble Bobble sequel, which, for the unfamiliar, swaps out bubbles for rainbows that can be used as platforms.
- Let's Catch (Sega, 1-4 players, 1,000 Wii Points) This WiiWare game from Prope, which is exactly what it sounds like (a game about playing catch with your family), happens to be the first WiiWare title published by Sega. It also apparently unlocks bonuses for owners of Let's Tap.
- Space Harrier (Arcade, 1 player, 800 Wii Points) If you only played The 3-D Battles of WorldRunner as a kid, you're going to think this is quite the ripoff. But we assure you, it's the other way around.
