Today only: buy one of these Xbox Live games, get another copy for a friend
Amazon is running an Xbox Live promotion that guarantees awesome multiplayer fun in one of three games, unless you don't have any friends, or, uh, don't like these games. Okay, maybe it encourages awesome multiplayer fun. Today, if you purchase Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting, or Uno from Amazon, you'll receive a code for another download of the same game, to give to a second player. You haven't lived until you've unlocked the secret Dan character in Puzzle Fighter and experienced the kind of defeat that comes from only being able to drop red blocks on your opponent's screen. It's a thrilling way to ... lose spectacularly.

Unfortunately, its only valid for US residents.. Damn.
Kev (gamertag: ksiddique) @ Jun 16th 2009 10:20AM
Thanks, Justin. I wish they would put this info in the main story for us non-Americans.

"It's a thrilling way to ... lose spectacularly."
Damn right it is... A coulpe of days ago I did just that to prove to my sister she could beat me once...
Damn right she did, she was using Akuma against my Dan and I lost oh so spectacularly!

Watch what you buy...I think Super Puzzle will be the deal of the week soon and discounted if you buy directly on live.

Of course, you could double that and make it 4 friends if you use the "split" trick.
Go on CAG or pop in split xbox live arcade game on google.
mars @ Jun 15th 2009 8:19PM
I typed that into google and couldn't find anything that seemed relevant. mind posting a link? or elaborating on why you are talking about?
also, if anybody is feeling generous and buys one of these and wants to give me the second copy, my gamertag is mariolax12

Free is always great!
I know my friends and I have saved tons by sharing our PSN games. It's one of the best features that no one talks about.
WiredKnight @ Jun 15th 2009 8:20PM
Man, why does it seem like these kind of deals only pop up for games that I don't really want...
Martin @ Jun 15th 2009 8:52PM
Because nobody else wants the games either. They don't just randomly put things on sale, they do it to increase movement on dead product. ;)
GewurztraminerX @ Jun 15th 2009 9:26PM
crazy talk. Puzzle Fighter's awesome. though, personally, I preferred the first PlayStation version over the XBLA HD version.
jam @ Jun 15th 2009 8:27PM
thats nice, but it should be for all games.
monkeymonkeymonkey @ Jun 15th 2009 8:53PM
How do you "share" Xbox Live games?
Preston @ Jun 15th 2009 9:12PM
Buying XBLA games through Amazon? Since when did they start doing this? That seems kind of pointless when you can just go to the MS store directly since it's a fully digital download.
Dafrety @ Jun 15th 2009 11:42PM
1. No stupid Microsoft Points crap.
2. Easily giftable.
3. Get sales Microsoft won't give. Case in point, two for one deal today.
Need I say more?
Doombot (zuburi) @ Jun 15th 2009 11:45PM
Seriously. The only reason anybody would buy a Live game through Amazon instead of the Marketplace is if they had some sort of incentive to do so.
Like, I don't know, buying a game and getting another copy for a friend. Just pulled that one out of my ass, so who knows.

Great idea!!!
derdaim @ Jun 16th 2009 4:04AM
Yay! Puzzle Fighter is my favourite 1on1 puzzle-game besides Tetris. Got it already for Gameboy, but now I'll take two copys to pwn my firends with Ken!
MowDownJoe @ Jun 16th 2009 10:25AM
When there was still a large amount of people playing Puzzle Fighter, I actually got into alot of Dan vs. Dan matches. Those are crazy fun, and really tricky...
Alzheimers @ Jun 16th 2009 10:42AM
Awesome.
Is it just me, or doesn't it sound like Dan yells "Crack ho!"
