The most popular PlayStation Network game of 2008 is finally finding a home on retail disc ... in Europe. A Blu-ray version of the physics-based action game will be out June 24th in Europe, June 25th in Australia and New Zealand, and in the UK and Ireland on June 26th for €24.99/£19.99.
The offline collection will include all the expansions released so far: Abusement Park, Movie Studios and Sore Spots. You can expect a few DLC characters to be included as well, such as Tati, Ginger, Cookie and the Ded Baron. However, while the package is a rather comprehensive offering of PAIN, it will not include the next DLC pack, Museum, coming this summer.
[Thanks, Daniel G.!]

Europe deserves this. They've been waiting for many games for a long time.

hmm i wonder if whether i don't like this game is because i find it a bit too CASUAL or because it lacks in gameplay.

Just like space invaders or pacman your goal is to get as high score as possible. And I find it very enjoyable to try to beat my own personal best or my friends scores.

They're not including the expansion pack coming out next month? Isn't that kinda' cheap?

Oops, I'm sorry - I misread. It's coming out this summer, not next month ... but still - summers about half over, so I think they could have included it in the disc.

europe doesn't need pain on blu-ray. We need The Last Guy trophies.

I wish they would bring this stateside. I would consider picking it up if it were a budget game but it does not look good enough to import. Now Ratchet and Clank Quest For Booty. . . . THAT was worth importing.

Tati rules! I think I'm gonna buy Sore Spots. I skipped the darts and castle one, though. I asked Travis when more slutty babes are coming out and he said soon.

EU doesn't need Pain on BD OR Last Guy Trophies. We need a sensibly priced PSP Go and not the £259 or £229 price tag that's attached to it now!
