Mad Dog McCree blasts his way to Wii with the Gunslinger Pack

You won't be forced to go it alone in each of these adventures either, as this compilation also adds a bit of multiplayer flair. There will be both Posse and Rebel modes, the former allowing up to four players to work side-by-side for a high score, and the latter allows up to four players to work independently, shooting things to gain the highest score of the bunch.

That's a fascinating take you have on this news. Thanks so much for posting it. Do you have any other pearls of wisdom you'd like to share with the rest of us?

Needs video to show how awesome it is.

:-)
$20 for three of those games. I got 2 perfect shots , sounds like a fun yet retarded game to play with friends when drunk
malisp @ Jun 16th 2009 8:57PM
Very nice, nostalgia here I come!
I hope the quickdraw events stay in, using the accelerometer to make sure the gun is "holstered".
MC Double Def DP @ Jun 16th 2009 9:05PM
This game is horribly awesome!!! YEE HAW!
Misfit Toy @ Jun 16th 2009 9:05PM
Do want.
Heavytoka @ Jun 16th 2009 9:06PM
I want this now!
CH3BURASHKA @ Jun 16th 2009 9:13PM
Who?
Dishwasher @ Jun 16th 2009 9:21PM
wow that takes me back! I played this so many times as a kids.
THE WICKER MAN (BWF) (GT: Dalek Prime) @ Jun 16th 2009 10:11PM
Who are you, Jamie Madrox? Yes it does bring back good/bad lightgun memories. (as a kids)
ArchiGamer @ Jun 16th 2009 9:21PM
Never heard of this game but looking at the picture this game looks like its either horribly bad or ridiculously awesome.
I'm going with the latter.
mzx2md @ Jun 16th 2009 9:23PM
I had this game on my Panny 3DO. It was garbage then and probably still is!
LordToastington @ Jun 16th 2009 9:28PM
Now we need Space Pirates or Crime Patrol.
goo @ Jun 16th 2009 9:52PM
this and lethal enforcers takes me back and area 51 to a lesser extent... a much lesser extent
redjack @ Jun 16th 2009 10:06PM
Tag some CarnEvil onto that and I'm with you.
Seishino @ Jun 17th 2009 12:25AM
CarnEvil was probably the best FMV shooter of all time. I also wouldn't mind a re-release of 7th Guest / 11th Hour, or finally releasing Duelin Firemen.
goo @ Jun 16th 2009 10:11PM
list amended...
that takes me back to the pizza hut buffet days of yore and book it
thanks for pointing that one out flew out under the radar
why not the LS2LS7? @ Jun 16th 2009 10:17PM
Crappy shovelware for a platform full of it.
Cody @ Jun 16th 2009 10:30PM
Shut up.
You're just pissed off GM is in the dumps and the Camaro will never, and has never, amounted to half of what the Mustang is and has become.
why not the LS2LS7? @ Jun 17th 2009 12:44AM
What kind of idiot mods that up?
BTW, the only car I own is an Audi, has been the case for over 9 years.
why not the LS2LS7? @ Jun 17th 2009 12:18PM
Sorry joystiq, I didn't understand that any comments that are about the actual subject instead of personal attacks are inappropriate and will be modded down.
FAnchax @ Jun 16th 2009 11:01PM
fuck yea
Diskoboy7 @ Jun 16th 2009 11:18PM
Mad Dog McCree (AKA - Dog Crap McCree) absolutely turned me off of FMV games (and gaming, in general, through the first part of the 90's, since most games started to get FMV sequences, as bad, or worse than MDM.)
It's sad when I have to say laserdisc games were better in the 80's. And even then, they were buggy, and broke down every other day. But we had Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, and Cliff Hanger (probably how most of us old farts were introduced to Lupin III).
why not the LS2LS7? @ Jun 17th 2009 12:48AM
Agreed. At least the games you list were a lot better than Mad Dog McCree, and Time Traveller for that matter.
Benjamin Heckendorn @ Jun 17th 2009 10:39AM
Where's Sewer Shark, Night Trap, Corpse Killer and It Came from the Desert?
Rogue5 @ Jun 17th 2009 11:30AM
Remember playing the first one when i was kid, I know the game was crappy, but i love it just because it was gun game.
Johnny @ Jun 17th 2009 2:36AM
These games will be awesome to play again. I had them on the 3DO and the problem was these games require 1 inch accuracy and 3DO guns had 3 inch accuracy. So with the WII controller, it should be perfect. Now will we see an Aussie release? But will probably be refused classification here because of the "real" violence.
Morning Toast @ Jun 17th 2009 11:48AM
I'm gonna have to second @Heckendorn in the need for some Sewer Shark!
I played McCree to death when it came out. I liked it better than the Dragon's Lair bunch because it was live action. It was (is) a horrible game but just great cheese fun.
redjack @ Jun 17th 2009 1:01PM
How about some Time Crisis with the balance board as the pedal? Man I loves me some old school shooters...
I hope this does well enough to get a release of Dragon's Lair and Space Ace. I just can't bring myself to get them on DVD.
James @ Jun 17th 2009 2:26PM
Time Crisis... good thinking!
Goffee @ Jun 17th 2009 2:55PM
Hope this leads the way for more FMV games, particularly the multi-disc proper PC adventures to rise from the grave. Loved Gabriel Knight and Reaper!
madgamer @ Jun 18th 2009 11:29PM
how about lethal enforcers 1 & 2, who shot johnny rocket?,hologram time traveler, drug wars and crime patrol, area 51, and all the rest!!!!
