Y'know, I've been using that "uphill both ways" line for as long as I can remember, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone else say it (aside from wherever I picked it up from, of course). So thank you. I'm not crazy.

IN regards to that SMB2 comment, I can't find it. Can you get any more specific than the date? I'm curious now. D=

Can't I joke around a little? It's nothing personal. I'm not expecting to see any big announcements when E3 was just a couple of weeks ago.

This game is going to be so sick. It definitely didn't get enough attention at E3. The thing I like about this game is it's story. Almost like that movie Taken. I love revenge!

At first I was really pissed at what they had done with Splinter Cell, but after the E3 presentation I cooled down a great bit. Even though there aren't any sexy gadgets and no longer a cynical jaded and somewhat humorous Sam Fisher the new style and gameplay elements make up for it. I chose the Ubisoft E3 Conference as my favorite when I voted, sure it was really slow and poorly put together but I don't care about the politics, I just loved the games.

The next Splinter Cell will either be a prequel similar to Splinter cell Essentials or they will end the Sam Fisher storyline and start up with a new character.

It pains me to say this but I am hoping for the latter. Sam Fisher is awesome. But after conviction, is he or the government really going to forget everything that has happened? He won't be able to go back doing field ops. They need to tie off Fisher and start fresh with a new character.

50 isn't that old. You guys seen that bow flex commercial with that fifty year old lady with the huge fake rack. I'd still smash it like an Idaho potato, is all I'm saying...

Although Hollywood shaved his age by quite a bit, Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne was around 50 years old and he kicked butt.

Sam Fisher would be No different.. he will be an ass kicker into his 60's.. LOL

I watched it and could see his age in the video. They're staying true to form. To me, he reminds me a lot of Bruce Willis' John McClane in Live Free and Die Hard. Dude was old . . . but dude was ripped.

If Sam Fisher where in his seventies, I bet he could climb Mt. Everest, jump off of it, get hit by 10 cars at once, be in the middle of a nuclear bomb, be dipped in acid, fight 15 Mafia gangs at once, swim across the Amazon and get bitten by a hundred deadly fish, get hit by 5 B-52 bombers, and the whole time 20 machine guns being shot at him---But he's SAM FISHER, and he would survive all of that. There wouldn't be a scratch on him, and he wouldn't even break a drop of sweat...Because he's SAM FISHER.

It's cool though. See, Sam Fisher doesn't have a mutation in his blood caused by another mutation, that's mutated further to maybe cause mutation among the populace. Did I mention it's mutated? Guess what, hero's age. It's not like it's a new invention.

Wow, that was an even whinier reply than I ever expected to get, which probably deserves some sort of prize. First of all, not all heros age in the videogame industry (look at Mario, he hasn't aged a day in twenty years or after 50 or so games). I was just pointing out the irony that splinter cell, which has ripped off metal gear since the beginning (and has not done it well) announced a game with an old version of the character a year after MGS4. Showing that the year since MGS4's release gave them time to play MGS4, take some notes, then start work on the splinter cell.
