For an extra $20, my collector's edition better come with a lapdance and not some crappy ass making of video or some purty golden weapon that I could care less about.

they should include an exclusive weapon, early access to a weapon, a ballistics knife (shoots the blade), and triple XP for the first month of online.

i want an AR-15. ill pay $1060 for a collectors edition if it comes with a real AR-15. no background check tho plz.

I hope the box is embossed and the manual is printed on super glossy paper!

These are a lot of ideas that we have put together over at IW's site. Nothing there is confirmed but 402 has seen the ideas.

$20 over base MSRP is very reasonable. Just hope it stays that way.

So far I've bought only 3 collectors edition games (RE5, Gears 2, and Demigod).

and so far .... I don't feel any happier lol.

Guess I go nuts for cheaply made 6" figures of uber manly Chris and the Rook. Metal game cases are pretty nice to have.

I feel like such a nerd because I pre-ordered it before I knew of anything in it.

Speaking of ballistic knives, why not include a real one with the collectors edition.

The biggest thing for me is the size of the stuff that comes with it... I didn't like that the Halo 3 CE was 3x the size of a normal case. The GTA IV lockbox was cool, but it's just kind of in the way now. Fallout 3 CE was pretty large, too.

I think slim aluminum cases are the way to go... The Halo Wars CE is, by far, the most beautiful CE available. It's not larger than a standard plastic case, and it feels like the extra cash went someplace. Halo 2 CE used a slim case, too, but I've never seen one in person, other than on a friend's shelf.

Anyone ever wonder why a collector's edition game needs to be stripped of all of its beauty? Halo 3 CE was the Halo 3 logo on a blue background. Fable 2 was just a grey case with a good/bad character on it... It's very boring. I always love the box art of the standard editions, but the box art never seems to carry over, except in the case of Halo Wars.

age of empires 3 was the greatest collectors edition of all time. The box is great and the huge artbook is really cool to look at, it cost 10€ more....

I want action figures an artbook and possibly a replica of a gun in the collector's edition. I just want some sort of memorabilia for one of the coolest games ever!

some suggestions: i would say a search and destroy bomb case would be cool, but i think they already have the case designed. for all the fat gamers out there, the design would be simple: just the disc, swimming in a crapload of candy. maybe a keychain at the bottom :P.next, a real suggestion, as heard from one of my friends, a golden gun with silencer, red dot, and noob tube.
