For a minute I thought these were unlockable hidden characters... what a letdown.

That would be epic and totally awesome.

I guess it's just a catchy way to get attention to whomever is thumbing through a magazine.

I was flipping through Cpt. America 600 today when my brother saw the ad and freaked out at the idea of playing as The Thing. He was then pretty bummed when I told him it was not to be.

This will also be the reaction of many who buy the game because of this ad. "12 Classic Characters"? They're just asking for trouble.

The hulk could never hold a wiimote, he'd shatter it with his rage. And lol at a wii wriststarp actually fitting around Hulk's mammoth wrists.

I know, what a totally UNREALISTIC way to portray a comic book character!

Oh, wait...

I just saw this today while I was flipping through an issue of X-Men. At least it's not the four page ad in some of DC's books.

It's fine with the Wii controls. The problems i had with responsiveness, oddly enough, came from the Nunchuk's analogue stick (sometimes i would try to dodge, but it/i would react too slow). Motion controls were ideally responsive

Wow, that ad serves as a perfect reminder of this fan art from an old Wizard mag around the time of the Tyson/Holyfield incident. It was split up like a comic, with the first panel setting up Hulk and Thing as starting a boxing match together. The next panel had Hulk headbutting Thing with little orange pebbles flying off as a result, and the last panel was of course Thing biting Hulk's ear off. Aah, memories.

No it's not. It's better with the motion controls.

2nd vote for motion controls, they work perfect for me, I beat the game with motion control and am working on the 2nd play through, no need for boring classic controls......

I never even noticed one time where te motion controller style screwed me over.

I think most people saying that they suck, never even gave it a fair chance
