If you've logged on to the My Xbox section of Xbox.com today, you probably noticed that it's received a little face-lift since yesterday's maintenance. There aren't any major new features -- and none were promised -- but the layout has changed to gel a little bit more with the look of the NXE. As you can see in the image above, the main My Xbox page shows off your Avatar as well as the Avatars and Live status of a few of your friends. If you mouse over a friend, a window pops up allowing you to do things like sending a message or checking out your buddy's gamerscore.
As we said, nothing monumental, but a decent improvement. Head over to Xbox.com and check it out. Incidentally, we encountered some bugs with the site -- weird formatting, Avatars not loading, etc. -- but we imagine those will be ironed out soon enough.
[Thanks to everyone who sent this in!]

Extra Bonus: None of the marketplace items in the last week work now. Hope you weren't planning on buying XBLA games the day they came out!

I like the cleaner interface. Now, can you please work on how smooth NXE is? There is a little lag when you hit the guide button or sometimes when you click on something.

a little lag? browsing xblm with the NXE is torture and the dashboard doesnt load much faster either; every xblm description takes 10 - 20 seconds to load, the games library is painfully slow and friends avatars take even longer..
i try to avoid using the NXE for anything more than editing my avatar (she's so cute).. xbox.com is much faster, way more convenient and infinitely easier to use and i like new look but i wish theyd spend more time making the NXE smoother..

It's an issue with the servers need to verify if you've purchased a video or anything else before. If you download lots of trailers , gamerpics, etc...that's your slow down.
I tried the cache reset and delete game, it doesn't help.
People were posting on Major Nelsons site yesterday and e responded that they are looking into the issue. The fix can't come soon enough. It's a terrible experience.

I suppose it looks OK, I can't seem to find certain stuff though. Mainly people on my friends list played games and subsequently a comparison of my achivements and theirs on said game. All I see is their last 5 played games, when I click on the title I just brings up my achievements on that game.

Cool interface if only it would allow me to log in and not knock me to the Create a Gametag page! Ugh
