Count ur blessings with this patch. I'd love SF trophies to but not gonna happen. At least we finally get support for rearmed, I'm gonna play through it again now since they prob won't be retro.

That's exactly what I thought... the game WAS $5, not it's back to regular price. I still might check it out though.

I remember reading that they never promised trophies for SSF2THDR, so they aren't coming.
Also, I missed the sale for this game because I had to sent my PS3 for repairs... >_>

Sale or not, this game is definitely worth the purchase. It is one of the best downloadables.

Its been announced for the EU too. There was a post about it on the EU PS blog. So it should be simultaneous, or only slightly off. Nothing like Blast Factor... where is that!?

I loved this game, i'll be playing through it again for sure once the patch hits (assuming it comes to the EU).

Now, I wonder if the same trick will work for Devil May Cry 4? ;D

Ditto. Actually, I went back to it last night for three minutes and remembered both why I loved the game initially, and hated it for the difficult part I am stuck at.

I played through MGS4 3 times in the first week , and yet I would gladly play through it again for some trophies, but at the same time I don't care if it ever gets trophies plently else to play and plenty more coming

@MarineMike

yeah, no s**t.

At least I can finally get to play this one. maybe one day, if I have 100% in every game I have and there is a period of time in which NO games come out that are enjoyable to me... I will wipe the dust off of MGS4 and give it a play.

maybe.

Played the final level three times... failed each time because of those ******* dropping floor panels.

I really liked the game though. It is frustrating at times, and though the music is in my opinion the best part of the game, some of the tracks get pretty damn annoying when you have to replay a level several times. I suppose that's good incentive to not suck.

Dude, that last level is epically bitchin and frustrating. It took me more than three tries to beat it.

Sweet , I've had this game since the very day it came out and have been waiting for trophies ever since. Looks like the wait paid off Now I know I can look forward to them soon. Normal difficulty sounds good too, total game over after losing all your lives in this type of game is retarded this ain't 1990 anymore

They said from the start that the game won't be online, and that iot was the "right decision." I agree, only because the game turned out so stellar that I would have hated to see it lose quality just to make the multiplayer online. At the same time, the multiplayer in BC:R is FANTASTIC! It is so much fun, anyone here who hasn't tried it needs to bug friends to get the game. It's so much fun.

I'll suggest Crash Commando to you, as it is as close as we will get to online BC:R.

I am sorry but Crapcom now delivering on a patch that they promised and tried to pull a fast one is not going to stop me from calling them Crapcom. But if they plan on releasing a new Breath of Fire RPG and PowerStone 3 (heck I would settle for power stone 2 on PSN and XBL with online support)....then they will be the company I use to loved and hold dear to my gaming heart. But there are making progress with MvC2 on the horizon. And its funny that you mentioned DMC4...the multiplat thing I am completely over, but wasn't it being mentioned that the accomplishments what you recieved/unlocked for the PS3 version would have been trophies for when trophy support was enabled? Yet that game wasn't patched either.....and even though they scrapped the idea, they did say that they were planning to trophy patch SSF2T HD remix aswell.

P.S - If anyone at crapcom is reading this, let me give you tips on whats not a bad idea to look into next:

Breath of Fire 6, Powerstone 3 and Chaos Legion 2....all for current gen consoles. Odds are you will have a winner (and most definately with the first two)

They're Crapcom for locking every PS3 save file so I can't back up my game progress or take it to a friend's house to continue my game! I have to run a 6 hour full system backup just to back up 2 or 3 save files.

I played a few levels, and keep meaning to go back, but trophies will certainly get me back. I wish trophies had been added to Oblivion, I looked at the Achievements and I would have had most of them if they'd patched it for PS3. And I'll have to go back to Tomb Raider, too, since the patch came out. So many games to go back to, just for trophies. Too bad Ratchet and Clank never got a patch.

the game itself isnt anywhere near as frustrating and those freaking challenge rooms. i stopped playing them because there was no trophies for beating them. i have like 4 rooms left and even with trophies, i dont know if they are worth the aggravation.

I've avoided the challenge rooms because I was waiting for trophies. You know that most of them are going to be challenge room related. I didn't want to kill myself trying to shave off half a second in all of the rooms and do it all over again for trophies.

Though I quit trophy hunting since then XD I'll still go back and play it again though. Any excuse is a good excuse, as it is a great game.

For once, procrastination has not come back to bite me in the ass. Reason why I didn't play it more earlier was the limited continues (I'm not that 8-bit hardcore and I don't have to time to screw around with getting my movements down to perfection). So the announcement for unlimited lives and last checkpoint respawns is a very welcome revision.

Let's not forget that Grin originally promised Trophies would come shortly after the new Bionic Commando (the new 3D version that is) was released. So they had to be PRESSURED into keeping their word! Is that ridiculous or what??

RagingStormX is right. In addition, Capcom earned the name "Crapcom" for their unpolished PS3 release of Lost Planet, subpar support (trophies, etc) in the PS3 version of their multiplatform games, and poor PS3 customer service. DMC going multi-platform wasn't the catalyst.

Although it enraged some fanboys, most PS3 gamers are smart enough to realize that a publisher's relationship with a console manufacture as well as overall perks and profits have a lot to do with whether a publisher decides to stay exclusive or got multi-plat.
