The Bigs was a really fun game, I'm glad they made a sequel. The only part of the game that's played on the street is a baseball version of pinball, the games are actually in real baseball stadiums from what I've seen.

Highly suggested if you like baseball at all and are looking for something more fun/less complicated than the standard baseball games these days. A well done NBA Jam for MLB.

I am a huge Bigs fan and play it online to this day. I've played The Bigs2 demo and I think they've done a great job with the sequel. However, a couple of things to note: the camera has been zoomed in quite a bit, so you don't get as good of a look at the whole field as you used to, but this does add to the cinematic action. It is A LOT easier to hit home runs this time around, seeing as how some players hit automatic "no-doubters" with no turbo, so I think noobs will be grinning more often at their "amazing skills at this game" when A-Fraud hits a homer. I have a small TV, and the game seems to be built for larger flat screens seeing as how I can't see the game's score at the top of the screen. I'm still getting used to the new button-press mini games for making wall catches and the whole "wheelhouse" concept (I feel like the computer instantly hits it every time I throw a perfect pitch in the wheelhouse). Overall, the game is a blast and I really like the addition of the Big Slam, because it can destroy a pitcher or several batters in a matter of seconds. I hope there is a better way of playing online, because I got sick of waiting forever for someone to play with while listening to the same old songs over and over. One thing I would love for them to include would be an online co-op where you can play with your friend who happens to live in Texas, and both be on the same team. We'll see when I get the full version. I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun destroying fools who pick the Yankees every time online in this action-packed sequel! Seriously, 8/10 people I play against pick the Yanks. Have some originality. Go Braves!
